Ohhh no… It happened…

Overwatch 2 was officially announced at BlizzCon 2019 today! From someone that has been mildly and unhealthily obsessed with Overwatch since it was first announced (you could even say I was interested even before it was officially known as Overwatch, RIP Titan), I think OW2 looks amazing, and I am already consummately consumed with anticipatory-giddiness!

Anyway! With the new iteration comes some great character redesigns! Ithink all of them are mostly fantastic (Reinhardt’s top-knot hair is… Choices™️) and it’s nice that they’re more subtle tweaks instead of complete reworkings or overhauls. The silhouettes of these characters are just so well crafted! Both from a character/personality standpoint and from a game design perspective; the silhouettes immediately signal to players which character is which, even from large distances, even with the expansive library of skins. So these designs are excellent because it shows proportionate character progression (it’s just been 3 years since OW was released, but I don’t know how much in-game time has supposedly passed) while simultaneously streamlining and modernizing the character’s designs.

They haven’t released all of the updated designs, but I’ve made these handy GIFs that compare the New Lewks with the Current Lewk for each hero since the interface on PlayOverwatch.com kinda sucks…

Now my only hope is that Blizzard stops being a dumbass in time for Overwatch 2′s release! Because I definitely won’t buy anything from Blizzard while they’re still stifling the right to protest and freespeech.

Anyway, follow me for more Overwatch and other various LGBTQ+ Gaming related things on Twitch (nearly daily) and Tumblr!

It is the morning of day 8 and I’m still sick. Day 7 I spent my day off in bed resting, playing video games and eating Whole30 friendly broth and soup. I was hoping today I would be feeling better :( but I still feel like poop… BUT I am super happy that I have jumped into week two successfully. Today, I’m gonna stay in bed until I have to work… Then come home and get back into bed. Will post pictures and recipes of dinner when I get there.

These are my awesome weight loss jars!! They are really easy and cheap to make. You put the number of stones, rocks or what have you per pounds you want to lose into one jar… And move them into the other as you lose those pounds! I got to move 7 little stones today and it felt amazing!

Whole30 Day 31…
This morning I woke up and had a single salted caramel chocolate with my breakfast. It was amazing… And surprisingly, all I needed (when it came to sugar). I don’t plan on ordering myself a pizza tonight, I plan on having some grilled chicken, potatoes and veggies. For lunch I don’t plan on having a huge sandwich, I’m going to have home made chicken soup with home made bone broth… What’s AMAZING about Whole30, is that when you’re done, your cravings for junk are pretty much gone. Most of the beginning of my Whole30 I was so excited for it to be over so I could have some Thai food, wine and pizza… But I’m actually not CRAVING it. Don’t get me wrong, those will be meals I will be having in the future, but I’m not in any rush to get there…

But here’s the stuff you are REALLY interested in, my Before/After stats…
January 3rd 2017 - 250lbs with a 41 inches waist.
February 3rd, 2017 - 234.4lbs with a 38 inch waist.

My only form of working out during this Whole30 was walking, I walked a mile to and from work every day.
I definitely would recommend Whole30 to anyone looking to change the way they relate with food and to jumpstart a healthy lifestyle.

blood-sweat-and-sequins:

back to nature

I dyed my hair since i was 15. It had almost every color in the rainbow.

For the last 2 years my hair was red. I love (!!!) red hair, but i never seemed to get the exact shade i always wanted and the color always faded so fast. I got so sick of it, that i decided to go blond again. That only lasted 6 weeks, it was kind of yellowish although it was bleached by a professional. I hated it. Then i - of course - decided to go red again, not knowing, that the blond hair won´t keep any color in. Only 2 weeks after a new hair dye, it looked exactly like above in my before picture.

The other problem was, that i always had to cut my hair, when it got to a length i started to love it. I dyed and bleached my hair to death. And i have the feeling that it got thinner and thinner from all the chemicals.

I want to have long, thick, beautiful and healthy hair. I am so curious how my natural hair color looks today.

So i went to my hairdresser today. She cut off A LOT. My hair was so dry and damaged, you could almost hear a sizzling noise touching the dead ends - it was beyond remedy. Then she set highlights to get rid of the big bright red spot on the top of my head. At last she colored the highlights in a similar color as my natural hair.

I think it looks great. In a next step i want to get rid of the last red spots. And i hope that i can live with how my outgrowing natural hair looks beside the color treated hair.

Wish me the power of endurance. I will report my progress :)
