Avimimus running over the tiny dunes. I like to imagine that music from The Lion King is playing over this. You know the one.
Also might go for a double post tonight and catch up with the days, which would be neat.
Tarchia finds some water in an interdunal oasis. And Avimimus finally gets a break from the heat. I won’t get a ton of opportunities with the month coming to an end, but hoping to do more “extended stories” within the same formation like in this piece.

Been a while since I last shared my palaeoart, so have a few dinosaurs~
All of these were made for @a-dinosaur-a-day and in order are Inkayacu, Caihong, Caenagnathasia, and Tuojiangosaurus!

My first drawing in MONTHS. Drew an oviraptorosaur while showing my classes some movies (today is the last day before break).
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day with oviraptorid Heyuannia huangi.
Yeah, there’s no evidence of any non-avian dinosaurs are having green colorations as in fossilized, except for little more speculative. Which is why I’m choosing oviraptorids such as Heyuannia as parrot-like green coloration to celebrate with Saint Patrick’s Day on March 17th.
