Thank you again for commissioning me! I can’t believe I’d never drawn Zatanna before this, a massive oversight.

I was commissioned by @acapelladitty For this watercolour portrait of Heisenberg! Thank you so much for commissioning me, I had a lot of fun with this and the original will be in the post to you very soon.

Sadly you only see hints of it on the computer but that background is metallic. You’ll also be able to find it on my instagram: - https://www.instagram.com/thescottishcostumeguy/ in the next few hours :)

Okay turning this into a series! Which you can find on my redbubble over in my important links. (They make the cutest little fridge magnets).

The aim here is to try and capture different periods/decades ect through watercolour portraits featuring only the head and shoulders of the character. Right now I’ve done the 20′s, 40′s and 80′s. I have plans for designs going as far back as medieval periods.

Let me know if you like the set so far and if you’d like me to try a particular decade/period!

STARLORD. 2015. Ink & watercolor on paper, 9 × 12″.

Wizard World Sacramento is just 4 weeks away! I’m still planning to go, but I’m going to run my commission list a little differently this year. For one thing, I’m a bit backed up from Megacon. For another, I’ll be a guest of Hero Initiative, and proceeds from everything I do there will be going to benefit the charity.

The only commissions I’ll be taking ahead of time are fully-painted, details below. All other options will be on a first-come, first served basis at the show.

9 × 12″ watercolor head shot (my own paper, no exceptions): $250.

If this is what you’d like, please email me at contact:at:paolorivera.com with the character you’d like in the subject line.

Thanks, and have a great weekend!
