Okay turning this into a series! Which you can find on my redbubble over in my important links. (They make the cutest little fridge magnets).
The aim here is to try and capture different periods/decades ect through watercolour portraits featuring only the head and shoulders of the character. Right now I’ve done the 20′s, 40′s and 80′s. I have plans for designs going as far back as medieval periods.
Let me know if you like the set so far and if you’d like me to try a particular decade/period!

The life of a Samurai trying to destroy the evil demon is not for the faint of heart, but for Jack, it is what he has been training all his life for. Here he is slicing his way through the horrors and of the far-flung future and a world ruled by his adversary Aku.
Knight of Caislean Merlin.
A little caricature of Ocoho from Tony Valente’s manga and anime series Radiant. Here she’s practicing her magic swordsmanship outside the wall of Caislean Merlin in full battle dress. Let’s hope this future Queen doesn’t have too many mishaps or distractions. Enjoy!

A Knight’s Patrol.
Although considered by many authorities in the Imperium as extremely outdated, having been created before mankind’s re-unification and the Emperor’s great crusade. The Imperial Knights are still a powerful force to be reckoned with, none more so than the Knights of House Terryn. Here we have one if it’s knights on Patrol, looking for the enemy in amongst the ruins of a once quite corner of the Imperium.

For the Republic.
Of all the Clone Commanders in the Grand Army of the Republic, none could out match Commander Cody’s strategic coordination of man and machine on the battlefront. Here we have him of the world of Utapau, keeping the bulk of the Separatists Droid forces occupied. While his Jedi General Master Kenobi chases down General Grivous to bring an end to the Clone War.

So, I technically haven’t started watching the Witcher yet (we keep putting it off due to time or willingness to start a New Thing), but, uh, something told me that Geralt and friends might be a little bit popular at the moment… Dunno where I’m getting that idea from…

For some reason Mars was a much quicker painting than Moon - I suspect partly because I’d got into the swing of things, and partly because I didn’t spend as much time forgetting how paint works.

I realised the other day that I haven’t done any Sailor Moon SLFPs, and that that’s a huge oversight on my part! I got a little worn out on Sloths, so I took some time out to do some Senshi.
(I put a question up on my personal fb when I was trying to figure out which Scouts to do… and got at least one request for every Scout, so, uh… I guess I’ll be doing more of those eventually…)
