This giant squid of about 7 meters which glows in the night is the work of my friends Marion and Moses.
This metal sculpture covered with a paint that reacts to purple light is installed in Bidart in the South West of France.

I read on Twitterthat the creators of the Matrix movie would have been inspired by crinoid fossils dating back more than 300 million years to create the “Sentinels”.
I haven’t found any other reliable source to confirm this information. But it’s true that every time I share these fossils, everyone makes the connection with the famous sentinels of the movie.
