Simply stunning
Finished up this girl in watercolors- I went with my friend’s suggestion of using a mint green with bronze accents to finish out her dress, and experimented a bit with the flowers behind her. What do you guys think?

Sorry about the terrible photo- I took it real quick while I was working on her- I should be able to finish her tomorrow! So excited, she’s coming out even better than I originally pictured her! I’m hoping to devote a little more time to coloring and finishing pieces soon- it’s been too long since I regularly colored my drawings, and I’d really like to take it back up!

After a good little while without posting anything (sorry, friends) it seems like I’ve pushed through my art block and I’ve done three sketches this week that I’m pretty happy with! It helped that I was sick and stuck on the couch for a few days. When in art block, what does Katie draw? Fancy ladies, fairies, or mermaids. I’ve done two fancy ladies and a fairy this week, so stay tuned!
