Dick: bruce I sWEAR TO GOD–
aka dealing with feelings the Batfam way: with violence. Bruce and Dick have been trying to beat sense into each other for IRL decades lol though this barely counts as a fight. Bruce is running on 5% juice, it’s the fighting equivalent of Dick punching through a screen door.
In other news, my project keeps getting delayed… makes me nervous… but I guess it gives me more time to work on this comic so there’s a silver lining *___*

Proximity pages 6-10 askldjfkdsf Bruce is so hard to draw oh my god…
I’m forcing the boys to talk more because we get enough Unresolved Awkward Batfam Tension in canon lol. My excuse is Dick’s concern over Damian overriding the usual ‘let’s go weeks without talking, manly men don’t have emotions, i’m thirty going on seventy and I’d rather throw myself off a building than talk to Bruce about my feelings’.
Jason and Tim would start having Cold War II flashbacks to their Robin days, it’d be a disaster for everyone lol
Not sure when the next part will be out… hope I can squeeze another 5 pages in before my newest project starts ><;;

tfw it’s been so long since you worked on a comic you had to redraw entire pages lol
Using this free time in-between projects to FINALLY start finishing up those PROXIMITY pencils I drew years (?!) ago >___>. It’s a batfam fancomic focused on the dynamic duo (Bruce and Dick) and takes place in the same universe as my other DC fancomics. There are some Brudick undertones, but the comic is more of a gen story like Superkiddos.
I don’t know how long this free time will last, but I’ll try and get as many pages of this comic done as I can. For fans who have been waiting to see this finished, thank you for your patience all this time @_@

Forced proximity prompts:
- Classic “there was only one bed”
- Alternatively, there was only one couch
- Having to share one blanket, fighting over it the whole night.
- There’s only one pillow, and neither of you can sleep without one. You both end up using each half of the pillow to rest your head on, causing your faces to be only a few inches apart.
- All other seats are taken, so you both have to squeze into one chair.
- Wanting to borrow the same book but there’s only one copy of it available at the library. After constant fighting over who will get it, you both decide to share it and study together.
- Or sharing a book with your friend during class since they forgot to bring theirs.
- It’s raining heavily, and you don’t have an umbrella. Your friend helps you out by sharing their umbrella with you.
- Being trapped somewhere (eg: a cave)
- It’s culinary class and your assignment is to create a dish. All the work stations are occupied except one. You and the other person have to work in the same place, and turns out, that person is none other than your rival.
+1 from my high school years: little one person desks at class, not enough of them, and so you spend 2 hours a week sitting basically in each other’s lap. 9 months of it. Forced proximity slowburn.
