idk if yall remember me or not but i guess i am back on tumblr! i just updated my account n changed my username so ya may not recognize me on the timeline.
potential TW in this lil life update: addiction/self harm/suicide
wowie, how things have changed since my last post. around the time i quit using tumblr i happened to really spiral in regards to my mental and physical health. i stopped taking care of myself and the life around me. since ive been gone, ive turned 21, battled crippling alcoholism and some smaller struggles with benzos, survived a suicide attempt and almost got institutionalized. i hit my complete rock bottom and i almost lost everything but since ive been gone i also managed to pull myself out of that rut and start living again. i moved into a safer and healthier enviroment where i actually feel motivated to take care of myself and make SOMETHING of this life. about 6 mo. ago i was at a place where it really felt like i had nobody because i had pushed everyone away but now i have a thriving support system and i love myself most days. dont get me wrong, i still battle mental illness everyday but now i have the tools i need to get through it easier. it’s really crazy how i thought i would be stuck there forever. idk, just a little update. it really do be getting better sometimes.
