#quoteoftheday
women are SO—and I cannot stress this enough—amazing.
you don’t always have to love yourself to love someone else and to be loved by someone else, but it makes it a whole lot easier. insecurity, doubt, and paranoia third-wheel less often. feeling not good enough becomes rare because you know your value and what you bring to the table. questioning the relationship isn’t worrisome since you find that you’re whole on your own. when you love yourself you realize that you are worthy of love, of being loved. when you love yourself, you don’t have to rely on someone else to make you feel good. when you love yourself, you can invest in another without losing investments in yourself.
surround yourself with people who treat you as well as you treat them. anyone putting in less effort than you are into a relationship or friendship is doing it for a reason. those who value your presence will not make you question if they do.
there’s nothing shameful about masturbation. do that thing! explore your body! figure out what you like! everyone does it, so don’t feel embarrassed.
take your contacts out. wash your face. brush your teeth. get plenty of sleep. tell yourself how awesome you are. try to start treating your body nicely, it works so hard for you everyday and it loves you so much. love it back.
you will become so happy when you love yourself the way you want someone else to. recognizing your value is incredible: start practicing self worth now. it may not happen overnight, but it will happen someday and it will feel amazing.
hey! don’t forget to take some time for yourself. productivity is great, but so is treating your body and your mind right. an hour, five minutes, a day. anything helps. it’s important to take breaks and relieve stress.
being gay is okay. being bisexual is okay. being straight is okay. being asexual is okay. being lesbian is okay. being pansexual is okay. being attracted to who you are attracted to is okay. being yourself is okay. being an asshole to people just because they are different from you is not okay.
reminders for final season:
- ask for the test format
- study effectively, not for hours
- prioritize things; what’s due soonest? which test is first? which grades do you need to improve? what’s worth the most points?
- take breaks
- get to sleep at a reasonable time
- mental health is a priority
- eat!
- put your name on the exam
- go into it with a positive mindset
- skip questions you don’t know and come back to them later
- go with your gut
- it’s okay if you don’t do as good as you expected to
