remember when

I think of the women.

The women I’ve touched. The women who’ve touched me. The women whose bodies are now so far from mine. The bodies I grasped, pulled inward, knew intimately. The bodies I drew warmth from.

I remember these bodies vividly. I see flashes of their hips, their thighs, their belly buttons. It all happens at once. All of it.

It’s us - when we wereus.

It seems so drastic, to shift from exchanging breath to exchanging glances. When did we stop breathing into each other?

I knew that the marks I left on your skin wouldn’t last. But I can’t help but see you without clothing or inhibition. Maybe that’s why you avoid me. Because your skin still stretches too thin.

Because I still seeyou.

Who would have thought this guy would get into a bag of Skittles and eat a 24 inch long ribbon to avoid going to the doctor when he was suppose to be fasting? So innocent looking…

One of my favorite things is fanfic Author’s Notes where it says something like “One more chapter left!” and then you scroll up and see exactly when they lost control of their life.
It’s funny every time and I always appreciate the additional reading material.

oh my god it’s even funnier when that’s the Author’s Note multiple times in a row.

Death of the Author’s Self Control

striders:

this misha collins shit is definitely wild but none of it compares to the absolute batshit insane energy this website had in like 2011 during the glee tour when dianna agron came out on stage wearing a “LIKES GIRLS” shirt, went radio silent immediately after and missed like three shows, and then posted that she “wore it because she’s a feminist”

Helmut Lang gave a once in a lifetime interview to Vogue Runway about his virtual Fall 1998 show which in his own words, he described as being “a shock to the system.” The designer turned artist was one of the first to turn to the internet to showcase his show. In fact, Helmut Lang was the first to do many things. The fashion world especially at this time was not as inclusive, but of course the innovative and always forward thinking artist was way ahead of the curve. To Vogue he says (via email of course),  “It was a shock to the system, but a beginning of the new normal. In terms of the broader context of the industry, we made in the same season the entire collection available on a public platform, allowing consumers for the first time to get an unfiltered view of my work.” Read the story in full, here
