Happy Birthday to the most beautiful woman I know. She helped design schools, staffed them, ran them as the head principal of a few middle and high schools and she always led (still leads) with kindness, incredible encouragement, and silly grace. My childhood memories consist of reading non-stop at the school library or going to work on creative things at dad’s theatre because both just never went home. We lived at their schools. I also remember ice cream socials and more for students and staff… and it was strange to move out of state to hear that people were afraid of their principals. I had the best one. Love you, Mom.
