The Sailor Moon Exhibition was amazing! First, there was a room with a ton of merchandise and new art that Takeuchi sensei did just for the exhibition. And you could pose and take pictures with the senshi but I didn’t do that because it was a bit pricey.
Next, there’s a timeline of the manga and who all the characters are and how they relate. It’s really detailed but also in Japanese. Then there was a short video about Sailor Moon and had all the major points from the manga like her transformations and power ups.
There was a hall of all the original art from the covers of the mangas and splash pages. It was so cool to see Takeuchi sensei’s work up close and in person. The details and colors are amazing. The prints don’t do them justice.
There were also TVs everywhere playing something related to the room it was in. There was a whole section for the Myus and some actual props and costumes used in the old and more recent Myus. Then there was a section for Sailor Moon Crystal.
Between every section was a big sign that resembled the chapter pages from the manga. They said Act 1 Act 2 etc. it was great but you couldn’t take pictures of most things so I don’t have a lot of pictures. I tried to sneak some but the staff are vigilant.
After the exhibition, there was a special gift shop where I spent too much money and a cafe with Sailor Moon themed dishes.
Overall I give it 600000/10. Would do again. ❤️❤️❤️
