Lunch at Thai Palace

Duck salad, shrimp mousse pops, thai iced tea. Delicious~

Not pictured, was some lamb on the bone. Wasn’t pleased with the pics.

Last week at Sidecar.

beets and goat cheese – fava beans, pickled cauliflower, pumpkin seed oil, balsamic vinegar

rinconada chicken breast – lemon & thyme, potato gnocchi, farmers market vegetables 

ensalata tres mares – mexican white shrimp, local dungeness crab, manila clams, local lettuces, avocado, castelvetrano olives, radish, jicama, lime vinaigrette

We went back to Sidecar on Friday.

Duck breast with polenta, fried brusselsprouts with goat cheese, and dessert was goat cheese ice cream with dried cherries and shortbread cookie.

Root beer float, mac and cheese… plus a closer look at that cheesy goodness. Nachos, and our go-to tortilla burger done medium rare.

Ate at Sidecar in SLO for the first time on Friday night. Pretty damn good.

Had myself a strawberry mojito as they brought us truffle popcorn. We got ourselves the wilted spinach salad (crispy duck leg, spinach, pine nuts, dried cherries, bacon vinaigrette, parmesan) and the fried chicken… which was great but I don’t have a good photo of it.

Definitely going back for more food and pics.

Another Neon Carrot post! You may have noticed I post a lot of Neon Carrot pics. Thing is, it’s probably my favorite restaurant in SLO. I’m there almost every Friday night for Happy Hour. The menu is different every week.

This is from last Friday. We got (1)house fried chips, (2) caldo de mariscos, (3)puerco en mole verde, (4) chocolate banana cream pie

Dinner at Sumo is always a good time.

Artisan plate - grilled seasonal fruit, shaved prosciutto, humbolt fog, smoked sausage 

Soup of the day - butternut squash, balsamic vinegar

I’ve been slacking off on my posts! This is from August, my birthday dinner at Luna Red.

1. crab cakes, 2. red pepper stuffed with goat cheese, 3. meatballs (beef, pork, chicken), 4. shrimp adobo, 5. lamb kebabs, 6. s'mores, 7. cream puffs

We’re in the midst of a heat wave… All I want to eat is sushi and ice cream.

Dinner at Goshi. Seared salmon sushi, miso black cod, sashimi dinner set.

Avocado bomb! At Raku, downtown SLO

Brioche with egg baked inside, topped with prosciutto and pecorino romano.

Breakfast at Sally Loos. Bacon jam, arugula and eggs :)

Bringing it back to SLO.

Dinner at Taste with the Housemate. Lamb slider, cheddar and bacon Mac n cheese.
