It won’t be Tolkien this time, but take it easy. Silmarilion will always be with me before all the books. This is where I have oc and this is where my most important environment is. However, recently I really liked the Dune universe and you have to explore new worlds. I am shocked because I do not like scifi but this book captivates me from the very beginning ! It is far from Tolkien, but some of the themes are fascinating. One of the characters that convinces me a lot is Lady Jessica. I just finished reading the first book in the series. I already know that I will reach further. And I had to draw her and Duke Leto! Although I feel that one fanart will not end with one. When it comes to her outfit, although I am at the beginning of reading, at the very beginning, the presented Bene Gesserit reminded me of a combination of geisha with trained female assassins and I thought about the dress cut in the style of the rich lady of the eastern regions. A little bit Arabic. I also gave her a scarf on her hair.

I first met this character through the film. This charming and restless cyborg girl immediately made me fall in love. The film was great, and there was an incredible storm of emotions raging in her huge eyes. Then I watched anime and it impressed me even more. Then I had to read the manga to find out how the story ended. I strongly advise you to get to know Alita better too. All of these pieces are definitely worth it

Partial painting process video for the 80 hour grind. Note that I have no idea what Zero’s lab looks like in ANGEL IN BONDAGE and no one should think it looks like this (nor am I exactly set on Zero’s looks here), I just needed to make this look good compositionally & colorwise for this project. Silhouette looks more “heroic” here with the spotlighting from the environment, but he’s definitely lankier in terms of body type from what he does day to day, hahah. One day I’ll make proper character sheets for my AiB characters…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
