Anish Kapoor is at it again – Venice Biennale
Anish Kapoor is such a hack….latest Biennale exhibition and he’s still banging on about Vantablack and his beef with Stuart Semple, even ripping off his work AND insulting him.
Really at this point I can’t work out how Anish got famous, there’s not really much there is there? I do find it funny that Stuart is selling a replica version of his work called Biennale In A Box…I suspect this beef will…
Sylvia Daoust
Sylvia Daoust was born in Montreal in 1902. Though sculpture was Daoust’s specialty, she also produced engravings, drawings, and paintings. She was the first woman to enroll in the École des beaux-arts de Montréal,where she later taught for more than twenty years.Daoust’s murals, monuments, and sculptures are displayed in many important public places, including the Montreal Botanical Gardens and l'Université de Montréal. Her work is also included in many public and private art collections, such as the National Gallery of Canada, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and Notre-Dame Basilica.
Sylvia Daoust died in 2004 at the age of 102.
Deborah Butterfield was born in 1949 in San Diego, California. Butterfield is best known for her sculptures of horses made from natural materials and found objects. She began creating these in the 1970s, and has since exhibited her artwork throughout the world. Butterfield’s work is in the collections ofthe Metropolitan Museum,the Brooklyn Museum,the Whitney Museumandseveral other institutions.
