hi everyone,
i am now negative in my account due to some bills i had to pay. i had to make a payment on my rent or else i would be getting served an eviction notice tomorrow.

It has been a while.
I’ve missed all of you. And posting on here regularly. Life has been hectic and full of challenges. J has just finished his first round of radiation and chemotherapy. Now we just need to wait. After a four week break we will do an MRI and see if the tumor is gone fully, or if it is back. A few weeks ago we had a horrible scare. J had headaches again and we went to the hospital. They saw two images but could not definitely say what they were. Swelling from the radiation. Swelling from surgery. Swelling from medication. Or worst yet, two tumor growths. We won’t find out till weeks from now when they check again.
In the midst of all of this we have suffered grave financial difficulties. I have been out of work and trying to find SOMETHING to pay the bills. Countless interviews later and still nothing. Meanwhile bills pile on. I know I haven’t been as around as y’all would like, but I really need help right now. Please, if you’re able to, please donate something to help us survive this. Hello loved ones. We need to cover June’s rent and our internet bill. We could really use some help. It’s hard to ask, but hopefully we’re seeing the end of a dark time soon! ~N is healing and able to move around the house, so ~C is going to be interviewing for a new job soon. Not content I normally reblog but libraries are super important and our world would be diminished without them.
The library was how I was able to read so many books as a kid that my parents wouldn’t have been able to afford.
Libraries are one of the only places on Earth that treats people the same no matter how much money you have. We can’t lose that.
Are you saying we have a stockpile of knowledge that’s also a place of communion and people can borrow stuff which is always a more sustainable option than more things? And we don’t have more of them? Well that’s stupid. Which is why we need libraries.
Libraries are a necessary for a free and fair society.
As the child of a librarian, I fully support them and expect & demand that they continue to be publicly funded.
If you don’t agree? I don’t care.
I haunted our small-town library and was using the entire library at 12. I loved prowling the shelves and taking 2-3 at a time. The memories are so warm.
Libraries deserve more funding than the military They do more GOOD !
