It’s fish for plural if you’re talking about one species of fish, and fishes if you’re talking about more than one species of fish.

#118 Goldeen / #119 Seaking
The originals here don’t offer a lot to work from… Even their poses in official art are pretty boring!
We based them mostly on fancy goldfish, in particular the oranda goldfish in Seaking’s case, which is where the red “mask” comes from. Seaking also takes a bit of inspiration from lionfish, such as the whiskers; Goldeen’s whiskers come from the barbels that koi fish have. Other changes were made to make the two designs more coherent, such as the dark markings on Goldeen.
my fav pokemon fusions are the ones that are just super fucked. it’s fun to pull them apart and try to figure out what’s going on there. what is this

Got a little bit bored at work and decided to do some Shiny Pokemon recolors- specifically Gen 1 and Gen 2. Maybe I will do more… I really like some of these, Pidgeot, Dragonite, Magcargo, and Noctowl being my favorites
