#shopping list

LIVE

Hey girls, thought I would share with you my current ‘wishlist’ & the images that have inspired these cravings!  I am having trouble finding somethings on it, and by this I mean I  can’t afford the leather skirt I want (hello PU) and can’t justify Miu Miu Sneakers, so I am on the hunt for more justifiable options!!

I (daily) go through fazes of wanting new pieces for my wardrobe. I don’t like wearing the same thing twice, and like to play around with different looks. I think from working in fashion boutiques, I have become accustom to having lots of options when getting dressed!

Lately I have been trying to cut my wardrobe down to basics. Like quality blazers and t’s. I am aiming for a wardrobe of luxurious basics & statement party dresses. Right now I am working on the basics collection..

1. Nude Leather Pencil Skirt image

2. A White Blazerimage

3.   This LBD - from ASOS, its only $70 and will be mine by Sunday night Im sure! Its just so easy! I have a similar witchery purchase that I have lived in this summer!

4. These Zippora S&B Jeans - Perfect wash for little bottoms like mine! Please go on sale..

5. Sneakers that I can wear with dresses & leather shorts

TO BE CONTINUED….

Hi Em!

I am always spying, wishing, wanting & buying so change of season is a great excuse for me to ‘justify’ a little extra shopping!!

I try to create lists of things I need or want to add to my wardrobe! This helps me stay on track, make smart purchases & stay within my budget!

There are a few key pieces I am on the hunt for! I always take my time when shopping! I am definitely not an impulse buyer! I think though every purchase (sometimes for months) before handing over the cash!

I also make sure I shop around, purchasing items that I think are reasonably prices for their quality. I’m bit of a snob when it comes to what labels I like to purchase. I definitely don’t have a big budget (hello poor uni student) but I am very particular about which labels I buy. I like my wardobe to be organised, Peter Alexander for sleeping, Nike for working out, Kookai for basics.. etc. etc. Its a little (Im being kind, VERY) OCD.

Anyway, I am currently on a mission to cull my wardrobe down to black & white basics and statement party dresses (like I said, OCD)!!

My winter wishlist is as follows;

A-Line Leather Mini Skirt:

Leather is so hot for winter. I plan to live in my leather pants, so hope to add (another) leather mini to my wardrobe for those slightly warmer days! Amazing paired with an oversized knit!! The A-line shape will make this skirt easy to 'casual-down’.

image

Thigh High Boots:

I have actually pre-ordered this pair from Tony Bianco. Perfect way to wear Dresses through winter!

image

White Shirt:

I am saving for a classic Equipment Shirt (Status: Saving) from Net-a-porter.com -because the packaging will make it worth the wait!

image

Leather Vest:

ASOS & Country Road both have options however I am hoping to invest in real leather rather than faux.

image

Bomber Vest:

I just purchased this Cameo Bomber from The Birdcage Boutique! Its a great alternative to the Josh Goot quilted vest (for a fraction of the price). Unfortunately its currently sold out, however give the girls at the BCB an email, as its being recut in april in a leather-look fabric!!

This beautiful Nicholas Knit is available at Splice Boutique!

Black  Jumper:

I have my eye on this brocaded jumper by Nicholas, again available at Splice Boutique!

Every-day boots:

I am in desperate need of winter foot-wear! On the hunt for black, flat ankle boots that I can wear everyday! I just bought these Alexander Wang inspired Kori boots. Sad to say I couldn’t justify spending the extra dollars with so many affordable copies around!! In saying that, I still need a boot thats a little more versatile.

image

Easy Dresses:

Black, mid-length, paired with ankle boots ( that I am yet to purchase), big coat ( also yet to purchase) and waaa-laa! I have already found some great options at Kookai!

image

White Blazer:

A classic wardrobe staple! I recently scored myself a sportsgirlbargain!!

image

Long Line Coat:

I am all about warmth this winter! On the hunt for an oversized blazer coat! As seen on the runways of Ellery & Marc Jacobs! Hopefully in a cream or beige! Nicholas has some great options with prices starting around $600.

As always, this list is ever growing and I would be hear for days if I listed everything I plan to buy but I hope this gives you some idea of what I will be adding to my wardrobe this winter!!

Thanks for your question!! xxxx

yurig:

Found this grocery list completely folded into a tiny square on the bottom of my cart and remembered @annebracken and @youdroppedyourgrocerylist - I live in Brazil, but during the summer Argentinians, Paraguayans and Uruguayans come enjoy the beaches up here. That’s why the list is in spanish. I would guess that the person who wrote it is from Argentina considering that they constantly use “crema de enjuague” to say hair conditioner instead of “acondicionador”.

Translating to english this list contains: - Salad: lettuce, tomato, rocket - Bread - Cheese - Honey - Juice - Water - Fruit (the cheapest one) - Milk - Cereal - Yogurt - Hair Conditioner - Tooth Paste - Sweetener

From Brazil, a found folded grocery list. Thank you, Yurig!

I found this list at the grocery store across the street from campus. It was right under the little platform where you’d sign your check.

Most people cross items off their lists. It’s useful—you can actually see what’s left to get. Some people use this paper-ripping technique. That’s when you don’t have a pen with you.

But to actually erase as you go, that’s a lot of work! Is it to leave no trace? Is it to keep this list and fill in next week’s list in the blanks? We erase when we think we’ve made a mistake or don’t want to see the marks we’ve made on a piece of paper anymore. We erase things we intend to keep or at least anticipate seeing again. We erase things we don’t want anyone to read. I don’t think this list was discarded on purpose—I think this was a keeper, just lost.

If you’d like to directly support Ukrainian artists and crafters right now, here’s a suggestion: get on Etsy, search for digital sewing, knitting, and needlework patterns, and filter your search to shops located in Ukraine.

I’m going to list shop names rather than linking directly, so this post won’t get filtered out of tumblr search results. Just add dot etsy dot com to see their shops.

Hue lights. They’re so cheap, if you consider the results, which are lightscapes perfect for nights of kinky hypnotic training. As bimbo brainwashers, we prefer making everything bright pink. I don’t recommend this in all cases, though, because it only takes one night of pink light streaming from the windows for your neighbors to decide you’re awfully weird. Right now we have a towel over one window and a pillow blocking another.

lauralot89:

Hey everyone, so you know organizations like UNICEF and whatnot that allow you to buy the kind of gifts where you donate mosquito nets or something in a person’s name?  Well a lot of those organizations will let you donate vaccines, as it turns out.  Like, right now on UNICEF’s site, providing 100 polio vaccines to kids in need is 19 USD.  And I’m not saying you should buy it and then send a card to an anti-vax relative saying you’ve provided lifesaving vaccinations in their name, but actually that’s exactly what I’m saying
