Rather than talk about this icon directly, I am going to point out something I have always wondered about. Why is the theme to The Banana Splits Show have the same exact hook as Buffalo Soldier (see around 1:25) by Bob Marley? Did they steal that from Bob or was Bob stoned watching Sid & Marty Kroft and forgot, only to later pen the tune?.
