After 16 years, I was finally able to leave my abusive home. However, I have been homeless and staying in hotels for about a month now. Because I live in a new state, I have to go through the process of establishing myself as a legal resident. Because of this, I’m currently not getting food stamps or other benefits, and because I don’t have a permanent residence address, I can’t apply for work.
My savings have been depleted to the point where I can’t afford to pay for another week. I’ve found a place to apply to for residence, but the paperwork is going to take at least the next week.
My stay for this week ends on Monday. If I don’t have funds for the next week’s stay, I will have no place to live.
I also need money for food and basic living supplies (toiletries etc.)
Update: I’ve received enough to stay for another week here, but as of yet there’s still no confirmation date for permanent housing. For the place I’m staying, I’m going to need $242 for the initial deposit, and another $242 for the first month’s rent and utilities. So, I’m going to keep this running.

We would love to have you join us to produce any kind of Sam-centric fic (we welcome any ships as well as fics with no ships at all; all we ask is that Sam be the central character).
We offer two lengths: a mini-bang (5k minimum) or big bang (15k minimum). You don’t have to commit to which one you’re doing until rough draft submission in July. Artists are expected to produce one piece for a mini bang or two pieces for a big.

Dustin Higgs is a Maryland based artist on Death Row for a crime he did not commit -
He was convicted and sentenced to the federal death penalty as an accomplice to the 1996 murders of Tanji Jackson, Tamika Black and Mishann Chinn. It was the first federal death sentence handed down in Maryland in the modern era.
Dustinwas not the person who actually shot the three women.Nor was he an accomplice. In fact, it was Willis Haynes who pulled the trigger, and he was sentenced to life in prison plus 45 years after a separate jury spared him the death penalty for the crime. With the resumption of federal executions in 2020, Dustin’s life is at serious risk.
He is sentenced to be excecuted on Jan 15. 2021. 3 days before MLK Day and just 5 DAYS BEFORE THE NEW FEDERAL ADMINISTRATION IS PUT IN PLACE

Recently I have been diagnosed with ductal cancer and have to undergo mastectomy. Due to Covid exhausting my family financially, this fundraising was made.
Today is the day. In the hospital for the surgery and soon I’ll be cancer free with one large battle scar.
Update! I was discharged yesterday. I still wear a cannula to prevent inflammation. I have take home meds with me that is good for 1 week and I’ll be fine by then.
I would like to thank everyone who shared and donated for my cause. It has been a huge help for a surgery that I wasn’t prepared for but I needed to do it to prevent the cancer from getting worst.

More update: I am doing well, the wound is healing slowly and the sticthes are out! I’m doing mastectomy exercises to stretch the skin there.
But there is still another hurdle ahead…
The biopsy isn’t out yet but I am hopeful it isn’t so serious that as doctor’s orders, I might undergo chemotherapy which is costly and I definitely don’t want that. The other news would be taking medication so to prevent any cancer formation from parts of my body or my right breast.
I am very thankful for all the help from reblogs, signal boosting and donation. We are very close to hitting that goal.
Sad news, the biopsy turns out to be invasive cancer… I don’t feel well and may need time to process this..
