Art makes a great gift! This one is SOLD and off to Sunderland VT.

I’m running a wild sale online right now because now is a super good time to support us small local businesses if you can! I’ve been selling my work (mostly at markets and events which are now not an option) for over 20 years‬ ‪and if I may be frank, this is the first time I’ve ever been scared for the future of my business. It is the first time I’ve been not sure if I can make it through. I am scared that after the health crisis, many otherwise viable small local businesses will never recover.‬ ‪I know this is direct, but if you have been thinking about buying something from me, now would be the time! Plus my stuff is cool and it would mean a lot to me personally. Stay safe and look out for each other ❤️

Little-Known Tax Tips for Small-Business Owners

Attax time, small businesses look for ways to save money and maximize credits and deductions. “One of the most overlooked ways for small businesses to save at tax time starts at the beginning of each tax year,” advises David Ayoub, CPA in Syracuse, N.Y. “It’s simple. Keep every receipt. Find a way to corral all the loose receipts lying around your desk, in your purse and in your car. They can add up to a lot of deductions.” Another easy and often overlooked deduction is the cash transactions that many small businesses do. “Keep track of everything in a log,” adds Ayoub.
