Ren’s body contorted, seizing in pain as Kieran watched, helpless. Ren’s sire, the vampire who had turned him, was trying to end him. Knowing his aunt, Kieran knew she would make this as painful as possible but… That, oh, there was still that to do—
Determined, he shredded Ren’s shirt and let his hand rest on the tense skin of his chest, claws poised and ready to carve the mark.
Forgive me, he thought grimly, For this pain. Ren’s scream echoed in their chambers.
He would claim Ren as his own, and hopefully it would be enough to save him. If Ren loathed him for this afterwards… well, at least Ren would be alive.

Vampire angst! Here we are, finally getting some of Ren’s story. He was turned at 17, and met Kieran about four and a half years later. They were roommates while Ren lived there and investigated some immoral supernatural happenings, but after Kieran’s aunt saw them at an event and was shocked that Ren had survived, the stakes were raised.
And thus, this scene, and Kieran marking Ren as one of his own subordinates to shake any claim she had over him. It does come with the side effect of a soul bond, but, well Ren’s always been good at handling the unexpected.
“ICE-Verse” just refers to the dumb name I have for our collective OC universe. Ren, with the mark, belongs to me. Kieran belongs to my partner (✿◠‿◠)

“It’s just new experience, Commander.” The Marshal chides, shooing their hands away from his wheelchair. “I’ll be out in four weeks. How does it fit?”
“…you look good,” the Commander says, abashed. “Well-rested. I’m glad you’re on the mend.”
Trahearne laughs, “You don’t need to flatter me, old friend. I know I got no rest; I spent the night convincing Taimi to detach the rocket launchers.”

Trahearne lives AU? Trahearne lives AU! Furthermore, the urge to draw a corrupted yet healed Trahearne was too good to pass on. They get him out of Maguuma due to Kaonn’s bargain with the dragon, and it was largely thanks to Taimi’s tinkering to create a comfortable wheelchair that Trahearne (known workaholic) rested long enough to let his legs recover, properly. The cats helped by sleeping in his lap.
A lazy doodle, to add. The Sylvari-proof cast worked very well:

The feral lightning catboy has arrived! He’s 5'6, 24, and a monster hunter cursed to be short (he vehemently maintains that he was destined for too much power, and so the gods personally nerfed him). He hangs around with Beidou and Kazuha after getting in trouble with Liyue officials, and carries with him a token badge from a mysterious mentor who’s name he manages to dodge mentioning. Please show him some love!

While Cassius is playful and Jax is somber, Alex is the middle ground that bridges their differences. Cassius, also, particularly, loves Alex’s habit of hoarding pinecones and tending to bees, and teases him tor being too sweet, like honey (✿◠‿◠)

2022 screenshot + reference updates for your local dragon commander! His design hasn’t changed, no. He dislikes form-fitting human clothing something fierce – something he and Aurene have made an exclusive club about (since others think that Dragon’s Watch Regalia is “high fashion” and so Kaonn refuses to be seen in it. He’s not the best at fashion, clearly XD).
And we’re onto Cantha, next! For a game from 2012, Guild Wars 2 has aged incredibly well. I’m just as in love with the maps and the creativity allowed as always, which leaves me all the more hyped for End of Dragons.
