Hey everyone! I recently redid my commission post to adjust prices and also just to get something new that’ll be easier to post to all of my social media, since I’m no longer just using tumblr as my only place to post my art!
Rules:
Payment upfront, paypal only.
Edits can be made at any point throughout the process for no extra charge (within reason). I won’t redo the entire piece after the piece is finished. Changes should be made at the appropriate time in the process, like choosing to change the pose during the sketch stage and not after I’ve done lineart.
You can post my art anywhere as long as you properly give credit to me. I give a license to use my artwork, not to redistribute. You are not allowed to resell my art under any circumstances.
No refunds after the final piece is given.

Each extra character is an extra 50% of the original price (before adding in any extra for backgrounds). The more characters and the more complex a piece of art is, the longer it will take.
I will be sending progress pictures throughout the entire commissioning process, and changes can be made at each different phase of thumbnailing, sketch, lineart, color, shading, and background work.

With the quarantine going on, I totally forgot it was Mermay ;~; I LOVE mermaids sm dude you don’t even know, so I had to give my boy Rips a Mermay design. Honestly I’m not super experienced with drawing mermaids fjdkghdfjk but I hope to be able to do more Mermay stuff as this month goes on! I just wish I had more OCs to do things with lol. I haven’t been posting much because my tendinitis has been awful, and I’m still not fully recovered from HalCon. This mermaid and her daughter was commissioned as a tattoo design, the lineart for which I just saw and the artist absolutely nailed it! (Made it better, imo.)
I think it was very sexy of @glimmerglanger to create one of the most compelling AUs I’ve ever read and center it around one of my favourite ships.
For those of you who have not read Flotsam and Jetsam, you really should. It’s basically The Little Mermaid, if the little mermaid was gay, set in the forties, had inter-oceanic underwater warfare, and dealt with period-specific mental healthcare and homophobia, as well as dealing with C-PTSD and contained some really well-written smut.
I joke, but really. It’s a really good story and you need to go read it. I was going to post this during Commander Cody Week, but I don’t think I’ll be able to do it this year. I’m getting into my second year of Uni, and my new lecturers do not fuck around. Wish me luck!

The new Free! The Final Stroke movie has been announced! I already know that I’ll be moved and cry seeing it. So what better time than mermay to go back to drawing my beloved children? These days I’m doing the rewatch of the entire series and I missed Haru and Rin so much!
