Alrighty I’m bored here’s some little things about sonic, tails, and knuckles in my sonic au:
Sonic:
Part cheetah and hedgehog but obviously got mostly hedgehog genes.
He’s one of those people who have to have a recipe to look at when cooking or else he’ll put whatever he thinks should go in it.
You know how when he gets hit in the games rings fly out of him? In this au it’s sort of the same deal but he has a satchel instead. And those rings are very valuable so he doesn’t want to lose them.
Has a hamster wheel instead of a treadmill because he will accidentally break the treadmill trying to go faster.
He can not roller/ice skate to save his life.
Doesn’t cry that much when upset. Instead electricity begins to shoot out from his quills and he’ll clearly get upset but don’t know how to express it. Instead of talking about it he’ll bottle it up because “he’s the hero and heroes shouldn’t cry” and he doesn’t want people to worry.
Tails:
Despite being a super genius he’s still a kid and loves things like minecraft, toy models, playing with other kids etc.
Tails really likes coffee but is not allowed to drink it because he’s fucking eight who let this child have coffee. If chuck catches him he takes it away.
Whenever tails gets mad he gets all puffy and growls. And he does do that weird screaming thing that foxes do but he mostly did it when he was a baby.
Tails chases his tails sometimes. There have been moments where someone walks in on him and he has one tail in his mouth and he’s chasing the other.
Tails has cavities from eating to many mint candies.
People think it was either chuck or sonic who taught him to fly a plane but it was actually chucks little brother aka tails uncle: Paulie. Why did he decide to teach an at the time a five year old fox to fly the tornado? He thought it’d be a good life lesson at that age.
Knuckles:
He is as far as he is aware the last echidna alive. About a 1000 years or so in order to save him his mother place him inside the temple which has the ME at the top. And the ME’s power kept his egg alive. Then of course 1000 years later some archeologists were exploring Angel island and surprise! A baby echidna hatched from the egg they were studying.
One archeologist in particular ended up raising knuckles on the island named Polly the Pangolin. She originally went with the group to mine for gemstones on the island but instead came out with a baby.
Knuckles is very fond of gemstones and has a collection of them. He likes to talk about them to sonic and tails.
He isn’t always alone on the island. Tikal and Chaos live in the ME so they frequently talk. Also Tikal and knuckles are cousins.
Knuckles refuses to swear around people especially kids. But when he’s alone he will.
He is not really part of the chaotix. He just teams up with them whenever they need the extra help.

Yo yo yo someone asked about the sexuality’s for the characters/my ocs in my au but I accidentally deleted the ask. So here’s a list of them:
*not all the characters are here either because 1. I have no idea or 2. They’re children like tails and cream and I honestly don’t think they would think about dating yet at those ages.

Shadow: gay but homophobic
Rouge: bisexual
Omega: the only love that he feels is the love for destruction
Amy: possibly bi?
Blaze: pansexual
Silver: pansexual 2 the electric boogaloo
Elias: aro/ace. Doesn’t feel romantic love only love for his family and friends.
Shard: aro/ace. Same as Elias
Sally and Nichole: both are lesbians and are dating each other
Big: gay fisherman
Chuck: gay/ace
Aleena: questioning. She thought she was just aromantic for a while until she met a certain hedgehog named bernie ;)
Maurice the hedgehog (oc/Sonic’s dad): bisexual

Nigel: gay
Polly the pangolin (oc/knuckles mom): straight
Static the cheetah (oc/Sonic’s mom): bisexual

Who’s Sally and Elias mother then been curious about this for a bit since Nigel and Chuck ar both gay and obviously couldn’t produce kids naturally, so we’re they adopted, a surrogate? Just even more curious now because there’s no mention of Alicia their canonical bio mother pre genesis wave.

Im still working out her character but to put it simply: Nigel had an arranged marriage just like his dad. He was very much in love with chuck but never argued about marrying at the time a random princess because 1:it was for the sake of two kingdoms combing together (acorn kingdom + cypress kingdom became the now woodland kingdom) making them more powerful during wars and such and 2: he didn’t want to make his father angry and being removed from the throne. The said princess named Joyce, did not want to marry either but did it for her country. The only thing they really agreed on was having kids since both wanted them. Thus Sally and Elias were born. And though Nigel and chuck are now married, Joyce is still technically married to Nigel but only for political reasons. But they do see each other as best friends, and Joyce wanted to live on her own in her mansion while chuck and Nigel are together.
That was long but yeah, arranged marriage for the sake of politics. But ended up with kids because why not.

The AU’s about Sonic becoming a human on Earth as a result of the rings, which in this AU turn you into the dominant species of the planet they go up once they go through the portal.
