I’m FINALLY seeing quad definition after what has felt like forever. (I’m a big baby when it comes to dieting.) But, slow progress is still progress!! And I’m keeping my muscle!!
. The key thing you want to focus on for retaining muscle (and not turning skinny-fat) in a caloric deficit is making sure you are prioritizing strength training, getting the proper protein amounts, and being very strategic with your post workout nutrition and recovery.
