#studyblr community challenge
Day two of the Studyblr community challenge!
Day 2 - Explain your studyblr URL!
My URL is quite simple to understand, or I’d at least like to believe it is. I study, and I have ADD.
Day 1 of the studyblr community challenge by @myhoneststudyblr!
Day 1: introduce yourself and tell us what you study! (Or something like that..)
I’m Jay, and I’m a freshman in highschool! I’m 14 going on 15 and I study: Physics, Spanish (if you comment or reblog in Spanish I’ll do my best to respond with good grammar! ¡Español es muy divertido y me gusta hablar español mucho! That’s not a translation it’s a separate phrase-), general math, general English, art, graphic design (to an extent), human geography, and music (in my free time, I can play piano and a bit of ukelele). And, I’m a dude. Just because I try to be aesthetically pleasing doesn’t make me any one gender. I also like dark academia!
It’s fabulous to be part of this community!
Day 4 of the studyblr community challenge
How long have you had a studyblr?
I created this studyblr almost three years ago more less, when I started my career, right now I’m in my third year, so three years ago hahaha. This September I created a studygram on instagram, you can find me as alme.studies
Hope you liked it! Kisses
Winter Studying Challenge
7th January: Do you like the cold?
I think it can be refreshing and nice but I much prefer the feeling of coming in from the cold! I’ve been raking leaves in the garden this morning to get over what happened in Washington DC last night and now I’m moving onto my next essay. X Emily
Winter Studying Challenge
4th January: What is the most important things that’s going to happen to you this year? - I would have to say graduating with a Masters Degree!
5th January: Would you rather live in a world where it’s always winter or always summer? - Both could be equally eerie! I think I would prefer always summer because I miss reading and doing yoga outside, but I love the chill in the air sometimes. Autumn is my favourite season.
Winter Studying Challenge
2nd January: have you made any new years’ resolutions?
Sort of! I’m starting Spanish lessons next week. With an eating disorder my resolutions have always been to lose weight and this year I have struggled not to repeat that, so I would rather not make any resolutions really.
I’ve submitted one essay and have two and a presentation for a grad scheme to go! I also had to do a numeracy test which was so anxiety inducing, so my therapy was digging up these jerusalem artichokes! They’re my favourite! X Emily
Winter Studying Challenge
27th December: What was the best moment (of your Christmas)?
This Christmas I didnt have the difficult family moments of previous years. It was a quieter, more grateful christmas. I hope everyone had a nice time. Xx Emily

day 20 - Tag someone who has a lovely aesthetic
i love all of @elleandhermione’s posts and just the general aesthetic!
17.11.2020: studyblr community challenge
day 16 - Tag someone who has beautiful handwriting
there are so many studyblrs with really beautiful handwriting, but @annastudyskills stands out in my opinion!
day 17 - Tag someone who you think is really kind
@serendistudy seems like such a kind and friendly person!
15.11.2020: studyblr community challenge
day 14 - What are some of your study essentials?
Highlighters! I’m currently using the stabilo boss pastel ones and I love them! Apart from that I also always have water near me when I’m studying!
I decided to leave out the prompt for day 15, mainly because I can’t think of anyone I really look up to?? There are a lot of great studyblrs out there, but tbh, I don’t really look up to anyone.

day 10 - What is one thing you wished you could change about studyblr?
I’ve already touched on this in my last post, but I wish that a lot of the “mainstream” popular studyblrs would reflect more about their consumption. I feel like this would be a good step towards making studyblr more accessible to everyone.
day 11 - What is something that you have learnt from studyblr?
I’ve learnt that it’s okay to want to learn more and pursue my interests, but that it’s also okay to fail. Also, there are a lot of great productivity tips out there that have really helped me a lot!
day 12 - How much time do you spend on studyblr per day on average?
Honestly? Less than an hour, I’d say. Most of the time about 30-40 minutes.
day 13 - Do you have an ‘aesthetic’? If yes, what is it?
I don’t really have one tbh. There are a lot of aesthetics that I love (especially dark academia and light academia), but I don’t actually have one and I also feel like I don’t need one.
09.11.2020: studyblr community challenge
day 8 - What is the best thing about studyblr in your opinion?
It’s such a great thing to have a community that enjoys learning and studying and uplifting each other. We all have different interests and fields of study, but I feel like no one gets judged about their interests, even if they seem very niche or unusual. Also, a lot of studyblrs seem to be teenage girls and young women, and I find it so important that this community teaches us that we are allowed to be ambitious, to strive for more, to enjoy learning and to want to be successful. I also think it’s great that this community is about our academic interests, not about our looks. We constantly get judged for our appearance and bodies, and it’s so refreshing to see a community that doesn’t care about that.
day 9 - What is the worst thing about studyblr in your opinion?
I feel like studyblr can seem kind of elitist sometimes - that you need to have a specific aesthetic and specific items and that your posts need to have a clean, white look with a neat handwriting. And yes, this looks great - but it’s not achievable for a lot of people, who may not have a white background or a pretty handwriting or the time and energy to make their notes aesthetically pleasant. It sometimes feels like a lot of studyblrs seem to care more about consumption and the things they own and buy than actually studying, which is sad, because it excludes all the people who don’t have the money to buy whatever kind of supplies are popular right now or who don’t have access to certain brands.

day 5 - Have you ever done a challenge before?
I did the 100 days of productivity challenge, but that was already 2 years ago, and since then I haven’t done another challenge.
day 6 - Why did you decide to do this challenge and what is your goal?
Ever since I started university, I’ve been pretty inactive, and I’m hoping that this challenge will motivate me to post more often. Also, it seems like a great way to meet new people!
day 7 - What is your goal for your studyblr for the next few months?
I’m hoping that I will be more active again, especially after I’ve finished this challenge.
04.11.2020: studyblr community challenge
day3 - Why did you create your studyblr?
I was just really fascinated by it and thought (and I still think that way!) that it’s such a cool concept. It’s nice to see other people caring about learning as well, and I wanted to be a part of that, I guess. Scrolling through the studyblr tag is such a great way to get motivation, and I hope that I can inspire and motivate others as well!
day 4 - How long have you had a studyblr?
I started this blog at the beginning of 12th grade, meaning that I’ve had it for 3 years now.
02.11.2020: studyblr community challenge
day2 - Explain your studyblr URL!
My URL is basically only my first name + studies. I’m not really creative with URLs, so I decided to use something that is simple but can still be recognized easily.

Day 1: Introduce yourself and tell us what you study!
Hi, I’m Katja and I’m a history and literature student from Germany, currently starting my fifth semester!
