Been adventuring around the tri state area. We have rescued two amazing dogs that will now be adventuring with us on our travels. Unfortunately our teardrop couldn’t handle all four of us. We sold our teardrop to a family in Richmond. So for the time being we have been using our VW bus for our trips. Starting to sketch up plans to build a bigger teardrop. Stay tuned!!

We started our journey yesterday and already it has kicked ass. We stayed at Cosby Campground in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Very quiet, shady and beautiful campground. Our campsite was next to a creek, which made a great backdrop. We stopped at a veggie stand on the way in to buy some local produce. We broke out the cast iron skillet and made some badass veggie tacos. On the way out of the campground we stopped at Ozone Falls. Great photo op and swim spot. The falls drop 110’ into a cool little swimming hole. Summertime vibes.

Massive Attack might be Banksy. That’s probably the chief takeaway from this cover of the group’s iconic “Teardrop” — but don’t sleep on Aurora, the previously unknown-to-me singer who here invests the song with fresh intrigue. You probably can’t record a bad version of “Teardrop,” but this one easily clears an admittedly low bar.

ŠKODA Popular Sport Monte Carlo (1936)
Aerodynamics was a highlight feature in pre-war ŠKODAs.This model was inspired by Zdeněk Pohl and Jaroslav Hausmann, who, driving a POPULAR SPORT, had come second in their category at the enormously difficult Monte Carlo Rally in January 1936. Their roadster covered the 3,852 km from Athens to Monaco in four days. ŠKODA made 70 POPULAR MONTE CARLO roadsters and coupés in the space of two years. The car featured a water-cooled four-cylinder four-stroke SV engine (1,385 ccm, 31 hp, rear-wheel drive), and the bodywork versions available differed in many details. Source: skoda-storyboard.com
