This show has meant so much to the both of us, and we wouldn’t have formed the close relationship we have now without it! The beauty of the story, animation, relationships, and representation that we have gotten because of this show has truly meant the world to us and so many others. It’s been a crazy ride, and it’s had it’s ups and downs, but that won’t change the fact that Voltron will forever stay close to our hearts. Shiro and Keith’s relationship is such a beautiful representation of dedication, resilient love, and loyalty - so we dedicate this piece to them, to our friendship, and to the truly amazing staff of Voltron! So thankful that @voltronreality asked me to do this collab with her, it was so much fun to work on! We both started talking because of our love for Voltron and now we’ve built a friendship that has changed my life for the better (seriously, she’s amazing). So basically season eight is coming out and it’s FREAKING ME OUT. But, i want to say that whatever happens, I’m fine with it. I have been watching this show since it came out, and it’s just a really good show. Voltron producers, thank you for all your time and hardwork and creating this beautiful series. I know how some of us feel about season seven, LOTS of mixed emotions. But, can we just appreciate what we have? I’m happy with this show, and let’s just hope for a good ending. With ships, if Allurance becomes canon, great. Klance happens? Shoot, hooray, nice. Any other ships happen? Let’s be happy that the characters are happy. The main message is not who ends up with who, but Voltron defeating Haggar and THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP AND TEAMWORK ✨.
I’m like not ready for season eight, but I’m excited to what happens next. Whatever happens, I’ll see you guys on the other side :).

I often find it so hard to fathom just how much hate gets thrown at Voltron sometimes.
This show has been and still is such an overwhelming source of happiness and love for me and I am filled with so much bittersweet anticipation for the end. I’m going to miss it but damn I can’t wait to see how it all comes to a close.

This is it…. Our last day at Dreamworks on Voltron. It’s pretty surreal. We started this ride in June 2014 and we just had our final watchdown of the final episode of season 8. I just wanted to take a moment to say that It has been an absolute honor and Privilege to work alongside such a talented and dedicated cast and crew, both at Dreamworks and studio MIR, who came together (like Voltron) to make something truly special. To the amazingly passionate VLD fandom, we couldn’t have made this journey without you. Thank you for all the support over the years. Your passion, creativity and love is infectious and has helped pick us up in tough times and creative low points. Lauren Montgomery, Ki Hyun Ryu, and Benjamin Kaltenecker are my animation siblings and in my mind, “producers row” will live on forever! I’ll cherish all the amazing memories for the rest of my life. Remember, Dec 14th is just around the corner so we ain’t done just yet! But for now, we’re off to the next adventure!

Yeah, I couldn’t help the pun heheheh. Thought it suited Hunk perfectly too! Those two are my faves, I love them a lot. Hope you enjoy!

This summer I fell deep into Voltron. I binged the first six seasons and loved them. Loved the plots, the characters and their developments, the lore, the animation, the music… I was lucky to not have to wait too long for season 7 and once again, I loved it. The first half was filled with amazing episodes and the second half struck me in a particular way, it felt like an epic mini-space opera movie and I was so here for it (and Atlas was the cherry on the cake).
Voltron also made me want to improve my drawing again (and it had been a longtime), gave me a new friend (hello @wonder-kya !), many feels of all kinds, and Shiro as well.
I have nothing but admiration, appreciation and gratitude to the staff who made all of this, and this drawing is for them. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Team Voltron!
