You can usually tell how deep I am in a fandom by how many different AUs I just start throwing around…
AU where Zarkon has Voltron, Keith is Galran and the Red Paladin, and Kuro Shiro is Zarkon’s personal Champion/Paladin attendant/attack dog.
The Keith pic started off as a vent doodle so the interaction this is based off of involves Keith being probably about 90 degrees LESS of an anger muffin (and maybe Shiro being about 10 degrees less smug), but their relationship probably goes exactly the direction you would expect.

Something like this has been on my mind for a while, and those space brushes gave my just the right boost of inspiration and motivation to make it happen!
Constellations are Capricorn and Aries, my headcanon sun and moon for this pragmatic, stubborn, impatient boy. To explain in brief, one of my favorites things about Keith is how his personality is made up of two seemingly opposite concepts – He processes things in a grounded, down-to-earth way that contrasts with his fiery, passionate bursts of emotion. It’s something that so many people seem to have a hard time striking a balance with in characterizing him that nothing but (what I affectionately call) The Cardinal Earth/Fire Struggle seemed to suit him more perfectly. For this reason, both this boy and these signs are very, very close to my heart.
I’d love to do a series of the Paladins like this (since I have zodiac thoughts for them too!), but honestly I have no idea if any other constellation is going to look that good as a crown like dang.

I remember I read a post here on tumblr and I said ‘’Hey! that would be super good idea for a comic’’, so I made a sketch and everything, I never got around to finish it, that was after season 5, and now I ‘’finished’’ it.

Hey! Back with another update! Sorry for the wait! with this chapter we officially have the first arc done with! Hope you can stick with me through the others! There will be another break between chapters as I plan and start writing again. Life is getting busy and completely changing for me, so as I adjust I’ll be taking some time away from this.

Keith had come to Altea with a few ideas about what his wedding night would be like. They centered around two scenarios created before he knew Shiro personally. The first scenario was the one that scared him the most. It was the traditional route where Keith was required to lay back and spread his legs. There were few ways for him to get out of it and most of them left a bitter taste in his mouth and consequences he couldn’t avoid. He could assault his spouse and face dire repercussions or lay back and listen to the training from the academy (he was scared that was his default, to escape into the back of his mind to avoid the pain of what was happening to him).
It could have also gone down the disinterested route which, in theory, sounded wonderful. But all it did was fill Keith with an unease: unease and a deep hatred for himself because he should have strived for this scenario, not feel shame for being rejected. It made him feel like the deca-phoeb he spent conforming to the academy had truly worked against him. He pretended to play with their rules but in the end maybe he had been truly listening to them after all.
He hadn’t thought his wedding night would include Shiro, a rather giant bed and room with an armful of blankets.

guys listen to my theory
okay so everyone knows at this point that keith loves hippos its been fully accepted as canon but everyone also knows that keith lived in texas and theoretically would never have seen a hippo.
my theory is that keith kogane that mad lad heard the name “hippopotamus” and was like. damn. thats a fucking badass name. thats gonna be my favourite animal.
lance shows him a photo and he throws up in his mouth but he cant back down so. he keeps saying he loves hippos it pains him inside he just thought the name sounded cool. father why didnt u show me a hippo why are we texan yeehaw

in the infamous voltron paladin handbook lion quiz - what lion would you pilot - it says mostly As would mean you piloted the black lion, aka these are character traits of shiro.
one of the questions is what would you bring on an unknown mission. shiro said map. shiro honey I love you with all of my heart but how will a map help on an unknown mission please think your answers through more thoroughly.
another question was what would you buy at a space mall. shiro said something for his backpack? (like socks, what a dad)
so a map. and a backpack.
so what im saying here isn’t that shiro is dora the explorer but shiro is totally dora the explorer okay bye
