I believe the world is beautiful
Only the weak ones are cruel
I saw someone else point this out so I want to post about it too. James T Kirk holds people’s shoulders before kissing them. He held Spock the exact same way. He was going to kiss Spock. Also Spock saying, “please captain, not in front of the klingons” is so gay.

I wanna meet the guy who offered to represent the rats
When Susan berates (who she thinks is) Corin for going off and frightening her, she calls him playmate. Not child, or darling, or dear, or even son. Playmate.
Just. Imagine all the fun they had together! Did they play dress-up and pretend? Did Susan let Corin battle imaginary dragons to save the fair Queen? Did she chase him around the grounds at Anvard in wild, raucous games of tag? Did her skirts fly up and her hair get all windblown? Did he tackle her? I need to know!!
I’m imagining this dynamic tbh

Also: shout out to Crysta for putting some honey on my ko-fi pancakes! I’m going to use the funds to shove a bear into a hole!
If you like what I make and want to help me make more (and do more crime), my ko-fi link is in my bio!
I highly appreciate the “happy ending” tag on angst fics, dark fics, etc. Its existence increases the probability of me reading by a significant amount
but some people are like “why even read those fics if you already know how they’re gonna end?”
Well, it’s kinda like going on a roller-coaster. I wanna experience the ride. The ups and the downs, the twists and turns. But I also wanna know that at the end, it’ll come to a safe stop and I’ll be able to get off of it completely unharmed
I think it can go the other way, too, where sometimes I want to be hit in the face with a tragedy and know there is no solace coming after.
In both cases knowing the happiness level of the ending increases the chance I’ll enjoy it.
