WATER TOWERS OF LUXEMBOURG: A PICTOGRAPHIC STUDY
The main purpose of my work is to showcase the aesthetics of these single purpose industrial buildings. Each tower is a unique symbol of place, but together these buildings can be seen as objects of photographic inspiration and art.

Illusory// Discarnate
Today I can share this piece, the first of three I created for Ethereal Shroud for the first single from their forthcoming album Trisagion.
“Illusory” serves as the single art for “Discarnate” the second Track of the aforementioned album. The ink painting was created last winter as a part of “The Lost Years” ink series, still on-going.
The piece was created with direction from the band, and after hearing an early demo.
The song this piece is tied to is powerful and shows off another side of the multifaceted- atmospheric black metal outfit: Etheral Shroud. I’ve been a fan of the band’s work since I stumbled upon the last release back in 15 when working nights at a former job. Since then it’s been a pleasure working for and getting to know the band and hear this record evolve.

For me this piece was also about fragility, loneliness and failure - so much changed, that at times it seemed, and still seems that world really is falling down around us. Those castles and spires I always saw on the horizon seem to drift further away, leaving only ruin and regret.

Alice Lane Towers - Sandton, South Africa
The 17-story office towers were completed in 2010 and are incredibly striking with curved facades and an unconventional silhouette. The two towers are linked by a narrow, vertical atrium which houses walkways and bridges that spiral upwards and allow skylights to fill the space with light. The towers are clad with glass and aluminum, the latter used as an energy-saving measure to reduce direct sunlight, as well as add the sculptural element.
