Same deal as last post! I spent most of October doing two yokai related art challenges- yokaitober and Ayokaiaday. I forgot to mention that I made posts for both challenges on my website Cattype.net (not .com, remember that) and that I made elaborate header images for both of them. So I should probably post them here.
[Yesterday’s] (and bonus #yokaitober) is Tsukumogami! Specifically Chochin Obake the paper lanturn and Kasa Obake the paper umbrella. They’re both made of paper! That must be why they’re friends.
TheBoroboroton is a tsukumogami in Japanese mythology. A tattered futon given life through a century of use, it is considered one of the most wicked and dangerous of all the tsukumogami.
The Boroboroton will wait until someone lies down on it, and then rise up, throwing them to the floor. It will then wrap itself around their head and neck and attempt to strangle them.
Your girlfriend is the spirit of a magical crown. In human form, though, she’s a curvy goddess of a woman. Whenever someone wears her crown, that person turns into a thicc version of themselves, almost like her body. This includes you, as well, but neither of you are particularly comfortable with that. One time, you put her crown on a dog, turning the dog humanoid. This, too, was very weird, both for you and for your Super Crown girlfriend.
