Tag-along sister

“Embry request where reader is Bella’s sister, she hangs out with Jake when Bella does too and she meets Embry. Take your wonderful creativity and run with it :)”

Embry Call x Reader

Jacob Black was a smitten fool. Witnessing blushing smiles, lengthy black hair pushed behind his ear, and longing glances aimed towards Bella was your new normal. Joking around was normal between friends, but it appeared as if Jake had to make everything a playful jab towards your older sister. Bella enjoyed the constant attention because it preoccupied her mind enough to not only dwell on Edward. You knew that and that’s why you always agreed to go with her when she asked you to join.

Bella wasn’t dumb, she knew that Jacob liked her and it made her nervous. She was not over her last relationship and jumping into a new one wasn’t bright. You were the key part in halting Jacob’s “attempts” but he really didn’t even care that you were there. You and Jake were the same age and he viewed you more as a best friend that he could be comfortable around.

The duo fixed bikes and chatted about life during hangout sessions. At first you sat on a work Ben h with snacks and joined in, but now you were too busy fooling around with Embry. The first time Embry came you admired the tall and naturally beautiful human before you. Not only was he gorgeous, but he was so sweet that it could give you a cavity. Slowly but surely Embry and Quil started joining when they knew you would be there.

Oil ran down Embry’s tan arms as he fixed the breaks on Bella’s bike. You intentionally tried to look away but your eyes drifted to watch the black liquid make its way down his wrist and onto his forearm, twisting like art over his veins. He was the prettiest creation you had ever laid your eyes upon.

A nudge to your elbow caused you to snap your eyes to Bella who was giving you a shit eating grin. She was well aware about your on growing crush on Jake’s friend and she more than encouraged it. You glared at her and shook your head ‘no’ to tell her that it wasn’t happening.

Embry Call was a god among humans; his radiant smile made your knees weak and you swore that very smile could melt the ice in Antarctica. In your eyes he was equal to the Greek god Apollo and you were a pitiful demigod from a random god like Hermès. Embry talked to you a lot but come on, he was nice to everyone.

You were glad to be his friend; truly.

That didn’t mean you didn’t daydream about what it would be like to hangout alone. Dinner, maybe watching the sunset on the beach sometime. His favorite snack was the plain goldfish and you would be sure to bring a bag of them because that boy loves his snacks. You just wanted to be his person. The one who he told deep shit to at one in the morning during a sporadic coffee run. The one who he vented to when he is fed up with school. The one who he looked forward to seeing.

“Holy cow, it’s not supposed to rain for once tonight. I say we have a fire or something… enjoy the evening ya know?” Jake said, glancing at the weather section of the newspaper that his dad bought earlier that day. They used newspaper to lay on while working on the bikes to avoid getting dirty, although that never worked.

Bella shifted her look away from you and glanced at the paper on the ground, “I would be down. How ‘bout you Y/N?”

Embry paused what he was doing and gazed at you. His brown eyes meant yours and your heart did a backflip, “Sure, I’m game.”

Embry’s lips quirked into his soft small smile that showcased his adorable dimples at your response. His eyes held pure joy as he turned and wiped his hands on a rag.

“Emby, I thought Quil would be here by now.” Jake asked yet stated at the same time.

“Quil can’t do anything. It’s old Quil’s birthday and they are doing family stuff. I already tried to get him to come earlier dude.” Embry explained, you got lost in how smooth his voice was. It was just so nice to hear.

“It’s us four then.” You said, smiling at Embry’s cute expression while he worked the oil off of his skin.

“Yupp.” Jake replied with his usual lopsided grin directed towards your older sister.

Bella bit her lip in deep thought for a second, “Jake and I can go get s’more stuff if you and Embry can get some wood together.”

Your eyes widened at her suggestion and were about to protest but Embry was nodding his head, “Yeah, we can handle that. Right, bean?”

You meekly nodded, “Yeah. We got it.”

You were flustered by his nickname for you. One time you said human bean instead of human being and it made Embry laugh until he cried. Since then he called you bean in an affectionate way. Nonetheless it made you blush because your crush having a special nickname for you made you feel.. well, special.

“There’s the enthusiasm I like to see!” Embry cheered.

Two months later you turned down the aisle to see one other person in it, Embry Call. The boy who you really liked.. the same boy who neglected you all for no reason. Your heart filled with excitement but dread. You missed him dearly but you were really hurt and confused as to why he dropped your friendship like it was nothing. You noticed that his hair was short and it showed off his sharp jawline more.

His brown eyes met yours and his lips parted in amazement. He slowly sunk down to his knees, hands going to his thighs to ground him that this was real. You grew worried when he didn’t speak. You bent down to his level.

“Hey, are you okay?”

“You.” He breathed out.

You snorted, “Don’t even remember my name? Glad our friendship meant so much.” You muttered, moving away.

His hand flew out and grasped your arm as he stumbled to stand up, “Bean, of course I remember your name! Don’t go.” He pleaded.

“Why shouldn’t I? You left us so easily.”

His brown eyes held sorrow as he released your arm, “Look I have so much to explain and I promise that I will. I truly am sorry and soon you will understand. Give me a chance?”

You bit the inside of your cheek in deep though. He was a dick for ditching you but he seemed upset and he did promise that he would explain it all. Plus the intense way he was looking at you in the store made you want to forgive him now.

“Meet me at the beach tonight. Same spot we had the fire.”

He nodded. As you walked away you heard him mutter, “I knew it would be my sweet little bean.”

Blasting air

Summary: You like to keep the air on high in your room so that when Embry comes over you can soak up his heat. Embry slowly catches on and that only makes him more smug about how you are slowly falling in love with him as much as he is with you.

Embry Call x Reader

Embry freaking Call took up most of your thoughts now a days. Growing up with him caused you two to have a tightly bound friendship, and when he shifted he immediately imprinted, finalizing the fact that you two were soulmates. It happened because he accidentally ran into you three days after he shifted and one gaze in your eyes and he knew he was a goner. He loved you before in a sheepish nerdy way before he shifted. He used to lend you his hoodies so that he got them back it smelled like you. He used to send you any song that remotely reminded him of you. He used to drop over in the evenings with a milkshake from the close by store that he knew would make your day. He was protective over boys who could potentially break your heart and especially hated your ex who didn’t treat you like he could’ve.

So when he imprinted on you, all of that intensified.

He didn’t tell you that you were his imprint because he didn’t want you to feel obliged to be with him. He assumed in time the pull would bring you two together soon enough. You always had a bit of a crush on the boy growing up but pushed it to the back of your mind out of fear of ruining a friendship. You didn’t think highly of yourself and didn’t believe that he would ever think of you romantically. But now he was always on your mind.

You knew about him being a wolf because he let you in on that part so that he could see you more by brining you to pack gatherings. During his patrols you wasted time by watching cartoons on Hulu. Half the time you would fall asleep, but before you laid down you were sure to blast the air on in your room and crawl under the blankets. You loved feeling crisp cold air but being warm at the same time. It heightened even more when Embry became a self heater.

His touch gave you goosebumps regularly, but when he climbed under the blankets with you with his warm skin touching your cold skin, you never felt more bliss.

It was nine and you were not tired in the slightest. If anything you were beyond restless because you just wanted to see Embry. Being away from him for hours while being completely alone was horrible. You hanging out with friends and family without Embry was fine, but being alone and missing him made your whole chest feel like it was on fire with ache.

Feeling restless, you groggily walked downstairs and made yourself a cup of tea. Gentle air blew in the window above the sink reminding you that summer was still alive outside of your house. Embry’s truck rumbled into the driveway shutting off with a soft roar. Within seconds your tea was hastily set on the counter as you ran to open the door and wait. You leaned against the frame as he shuffled out of his truck and made his way to the door.

“Welcome back,” you greeted. Embry’s lips quirked upwards to form his charming smile that always made you feel like the world was going to be okay. His smile washed away the worries of global warming and politics for moment being. Legend says that soulmates give off calm and content feelings, not anxiety like you experienced with past boys. You knew in your heart that the boy climbing your front porch steps in the glow of the moon was it for you. Sometimes you wished he felt the same.

“Didn’t know the Y/L/N’s hired a doorman…” his body halted before the entrance, his eyes soaking you up after being away all day.

“All the good ones were placed already, so they had to settle with me. Luckily for them, I am willing to stand in the rain without charging more.” You went on.

“Oh yeah? And what are they paying? Maybe this is something I want in on.”

Your lips twitched, “Two golden dragon teeth per day. Personally, I tried to bargain for three but the resident refused to budge. My humble manor allowed for me to reside with what I was offered.”

Embry laughed as you moved back to let him inside. You watched him with doe eyes as he slipped his shoes off and turned back around, “You watch too many medieval shows, Miss “dragon teeth for payment” Y/N.”

You shrugged at him, “Forks doesn’t allow for much more than that. I’m waiting to hear back from that guy about babysitting so it’s not like I have anything else to do while you are on patrol.”

“He still hasn’t called you back yet?”

“No.”

His brown eyes gazed into yours as his mouth down turned into a pout of sorts. Embry’s neighbor needed a babysitter and when he referred Y/N, the man seemed thrilled so for him to not call her back was weird and honestly rude.

“Fuck him, I’ll speak to him tomorrow. There’s no reason he should make you wait this long. Hold up, is that sandwich for me?” He distracted himself by pointing to the very sandwich you had made for yourself before he arrived.

You chuckled at his excitement over a sandwich, “It’s all yours.”

“Dope,” He kissed your cheek before grabbing it and taking a large bite. In that time you grabbed him a Pepsi from the fridge and handed it to him. He mumbled a thanks as his legs carried him towards the usual hangout spot that was your room. He put the Pepsi bottle on the bed stand as he climbed in to sit against the wall. You followed suit and sat close beside him, soaking up his heat from inches away. This was by far the favorite part of your day. The air was blasting, you were cold, and your goal was to selfishly get snuggled.

Embry finished the sandwich and his hands twitched on his lap because his thoughts were doing back flips at the idea of touching you. His heart thudded in his chest and rang in his ears as his cells longed to be invaded by you. His skin yearned to be brushed against yours in any way. Waiting to tell you was like a daily punishment because he had to hold himself back when he really didn’t want to. And against his will it was getting harder to resist. Especially since you entered a new habit of blasting your air so that you could lay on him. He wasn’t daft, he was well aware that the imprint was taking a toll on you too. He wanted things to be natural, but it was almost to the point where one of you had to verbally say it.

For you, it was nerve wrecking. In your mind you knew that Embry felt the same way because what teenage boy doesn’t talk to any other girls, comes over every night, spoils you, helps you with anything, and let’s you in on a little secret of being able to turn into a full wolf. You didn’t doubt that the would accept the new stage, it was the process of getting there that you feared. Seeing him sit so handsomely beside you… the time was now.

Your arms encircled his left arm as you leaned against him, both thumbs moving soothing circles on his burning skin. Your eyes looked so earnestly into his that he thought he was going to be the one to melt. You turned your body so that you were more so in front of him. His large hands easily allowed yours to grasp them in between your smaller ones.

“You’re my best friend.” You whispered.

Embry’s heart was beating so loud he was sure that you could hear it without super senses. Such a simple phrase sounded so utterly intimate coming from your lips.

“You’re mine too.”

“I think we’re meant to be more than that because I love you more than anyone else.”

Embry’s hands pulled you closer, his nose rubbing affectionately against yours. Your eyes closed in anticipation as you found yourself leaning forward into your arms. Embry’s hands left yours to cup both sides of your face. His lips brushed against yours softly, making you melt into him. He abruptly pulled away, much to your dismay.

“Embry.” You whined.

His cheeks were flushed as he smiled sheepishly at you, “I’d at least like to go on a date first.”

You blushed, “You’re such a gentleman.”

“A gentleman that will pay for the date with his fifteen golden dragon teeth.” He teased, moving you guys so that you could cuddle under the warm blankets.

“You’re such a dork.” You laughed out.

You and Embry laid in silence after that, just soaking up laying together. Cuddling wasn’t a new habit but as a new couple it was. Embry knew that he would explain imprinting very soon, but tonight he just wanted to lay with you.

Scars to your beautiful

“Embry Call, maybe something like she has a scar ( on her lip) and he just doesn’t care that she has it. And she tries to explain and gets emotional and he just stops her because he already knows how she feels because of the bond and he comforts her Like he is a supportive bf and it’s cute and fluffy!”

Embry loved so many things. He loved leaves when they turned during the fall. He loved when it sprinkled while he worked outside. He loved his mom’s chocolate chip pancakes. He loved taking a warm bath when his muscles ached. He loved fresh strawberries. He loved catching lighting bugs after a late night fire. And he especially loved you. Correction, he loved everything about you.

Your bad dancing after you win a game of monopoly, your snort when you laugh too hard, your smile when you saw a dog, your appreciation of old movies that he sometimes watched with you, how you always were willing to help him with anything, how your hands fit perfectly within his, how selfless you are, and lastly, your scar.

He knew you despised it because he could feel that emotion come off of you in waves due to the connection of the imprint. He thought it was pretty against your lip. He often ran his thumb over it when you slept. Like right now.

It was nine in the morning and Embry had been awake for an hour. He smiled as you shifted closer to him in your sleep. He bent his neck down so that he could kiss the little scar. Your eyes fluttered awake at the action.

“Stop, Em.” You mumbled.

He hummed against your skin, “Why would I ever do that? I am appreciating you and how beautiful you are.”

You shoved him off and looked at the wall, “It’s not. That scar is.. I-” You stopped, not even being able to get the words out. You heard him sigh before you felt the bed lift from him crawling off of it. You turned to see him puling down his shorts to expose a nasty scar on his left hip. The one hegot that before he shifted.

“This scar is much bigger than yours. Do you see me any less because of it?” He asked.

“What? Of course not. You’re gorgeous, Embry.” You insisted.

He pulled his shorts up and crawled back into bed with you, “Exactly how I see your scar. Except I adore yours, it’s so cute.”

You shrugged your shoulders. Not agreeing but not knowing what to say either. He kissed you, pulling you into his strong arms.

“Don’t shrug, it’s true Y/N!” He insisted.

You smiled at the sweet sweet boy in front of you, “I love you.”

“I love you more. Always.”

“Can I request a Embry Call imagine where you just comfort him while he cries. I feel like guys should be emotional too sometimes! Thank you!”

Tiffany Call raised her son on her own. Embry grew up without a dad, and that was just a fact. He was proud of his up bringing, it made him into the strong person he was. He didn’t need a man to be there for him to show him how to fix a tire, he learned it himself. And what he couldn’t figure out he had his friends and his friend’s dads. So not having a dad was fine.

Until now.

Embry had gotten off of patrol and had been headed home. He smelled an unusual scent from yards away. Not yours and certainly not his mom’s. Panic set in as he sprinted. He was meant with an odd scene. His beautiful mother sat on the porch swing, arms crossed and a slight smile on her face. That was not the odd part. The odd part was that a tall tanned middle aged man sat in the patio chair across from her.

Embry’s mom never told him that she was seeing anyone. Not that he would care, but it would be nice to know what was going on her life. Although that wasn’t fair of him considering she lacked the knowledge of the biggest secret of his life.

“Hey mom.” Embry climbed up the three steps and kissed his mother’s forehead. The man stiffened in his seat and stared at the tanned boy in amazement.

“Embry, you’re home early..” His mom played with the curls on the back of his neck as he protectively sat beside her.

“Yeah, Jake and I got the part for his bike early. And Quil came over and helped us out so it only took a couple of hours. Who;s this?” Embry nudged his head towards the mysterious male on his porch. Hischair.

Tiffany sadly smiled at her son who she raised to be a kind and honest man. Now it was her turn to be honest, “Your dad, Em. He just sort of showed up..”

Embry swatted his mom’s hand away from his hair, “This fucker didn’t bother to show my whole life and now you let him sit on the porch that you and I built together, by ourselves?”

“I get that you are upset-” The man tried but Embry shot him a look to kill.

“What are you doing here man? Seventeen years and now you want to know me? My mom and I do not want you in our lives and we certainly don’t need you.” Embry spat. His mom’s hand tried to grab his bicep but he kept pushing her away.

“I would calm down, don’t want any surprises do we?” The man lowly spoke, gesturing to Tiffany Call.

Embry froze. Did this guy know that Embry turned? He wasn’t dumb, he knew he got the genes from his dad considering his mom was not native to this land. But how did this guy know that Embry for sure turned? Embry looked at his mom’s face and he worried that right now everything between them would be ruined.

“Mom, go in the house.” Embry calmly demanded, pointing to the front door of the house. His mom raised her eyebrows at him, “Please mom.”

She nodded but walked inside. Embry waited until she was out of sight to shove his dad off of the porch and roughly into the yard. Anger was fueling his violence as he thought about how screwed up this moment was. He was supposed to be getting a shower and meeting you for dinner, not dealing with this asshole.

The man grunted, turning on his stomach to stand up, “Just like me when I was a young shifter.. furious.”

Embry snarled in fury, “You knew that I would turn, and you didn’t bother to stick around? Do you know how hard this is to sneak around behind her back? She thinks I just stay out late because I’m a wild teenage boy when in reality an animal explodes out of me.”

“I fell in love with your mother before I met my imprint, Kelly. Your mother said that you and your girlfriend are inseparable so you already know how magnetic imprinting can be. I knocked your mom up but staying away from Kelly was not an option.” The man explained.

“You think that justifies ditching us? I get the imprint bond, but there’s no excuse for what you did. Running off with Kelly was the choice you made. Now stick with it. Leave. Leave and don’t come back.”

“I came to make this right!” His dad yelled, “You are my son whether you like it or not.”

Embry dryly laughed, “By blood, yeah. In every sense of the word, dad, you failed. Leave.”

“Be back in a few days, let you calm down a bit. Tell your mom that I’m sorry.”

Embry rolled his eyes but watched the asshole get in his car and drive away. Embry stormed into the woods and shifted. his clothes tore into shreds. An older version of himself played through his mind over and over again. He despised that he resembled the prick that abandoned him. His paws skid as he saw your house through the clearing of the trees. He luckily found a pair of shorts in the trees that he kept around your woods.

He needed to touch you.

He shimmied them up his hips and ran to your house, banging on your door. The booming echoed off your walls. He was fortunate that your parents were not home. They would not appreciate the loud banging. You had just gotten out of the shower when you heard the noise. You scurried to the door with only a towel wrapped snugly around your body. You moved the blind to see your loving boyfriend.

You opened the door and was about to yell at him for causing a ruckus when you were pulled flush against him.  His body shook against yours, his fingers clawing at your moist skin to ground himself. His face shoved into the crook of your neck, breathing in your scent. His nose nuzzled further into you, his hands moving to host you up further against him. His hands slipped under your towel and wrapped around the back of your thighs. You were still outside and figured that you needed to get him inside to calm him. You tried to pull away but a threatening growl ripped through his throat as he only pulled you closer, his tears leaking onto your skin.

“Do not growl at me, Embry. I don’t know what’s going on but you are having a sensory overdrive. Lets go inside.” You calmly said as he pressed a loving kiss to your neck.

He latched onto your hand as you took him into your room. Tears leaked out of his eyes as you quickly threw clothes on and joined him on your bed. Your hands wiped away tears that continuously flowed.

“What happened honey?” You whispered.

“My dad showed up.” He blurted out, nuzzling his cheek into your hand.

You made him feel better. Your skin alone was like a healing medicine when it brushed against his. Your jaw dropped at his words. Embry Call’s ghost dad appeared and broke his heart. At the moment you were determined to comfort him, but oh boy did you want to deck his so called dad.

“Tell me everything. Explain what happened.” You sweetly said, moving so that you were laying down with his body on top of yours. His head rested on your chest as he cuddled into your warm body, as if you were the only thing keeping him on earth. Your hands carded through his messy brown locks.

“I got home and he was just sitting there on the porch with mom. He hinted at knowing about the pack and I made her go inside. I shoved him off the porch and he explained that he loved my mom before he met his imprint. Fucking Kelly. He acted like that was a viable reason to leave behind your damn kid. Told him to leave and never come back.”

“Serves him right. Showing up like that was idiotic on his behalf. If he shows his face again, he will have a piece of my mind.” You mumbled

“I can’t believe my mom let him even stay.”

You shifted so that you could see his sad face, “Sometimes you care for people when they don’t deserve it. He met his imprint and moved on, but she didn’t have an automatic soulmate to heal her. She didn’t do it to hurt you.”

“It feels like it.”

“She loves you more than anything and you know that. She had a moment of weakness, Em. She’s human, not a big bad wolf like you.” You teased.

He slightly laughed at your bad joke about his ability to shift from human to giant wolf. He rubbed his hands up and down your arms as his tears slowly began to halt. He felt better knowing that you were there for him. You understood his pain, but never let him act insensibly.

“I’m sorry for growling at you. Don’t know what that was… just felt a primal urge to keep you close as possible.”

You understood what it was. His father just ripped his life out from under his feet. You and his mom were his family and he would protect that with all of his might. You were his constant variable in his life that he could love and cherish forever. His dad showing up threatened his normal way of life, but he would not let you be a part of that. It was like the wolf side of him took over as soon as he saw you standing there in the small towel. It screamed at him to protect you and your feelings so that you would never feel like he did.

You hummed as he moved so that you were beside him. His lips curled into a smile as he looked into your eyes, “Thank you for dealing with my shit.”

You scoffed, “At this point you should know that your shit is my shit too. Forever.”

He blushed but nodded, “Forever.”

Adore you

Summary: Sam and Emily finally get to their wedding day. The outside venue is beautiful and everything is in order except for the fact that Embry and you are fighting.

La Push, ah. What a wonderful- dare say mystical place to be. Waves roared violently against the beach, crashing roughly into the minuscule pieces of sand. Rain pelted among the ground, mixing with ocean, grass, sand, skin, and materials. Clothes stuck to russet toned flesh, sticking like a temporary tattoo for a child.

Panting hard, Embry Call’s hands reached up his hands to pushed back Y/N’s hair away from her neck, peeling the thick mop away to rest on the other side. Her eyes refused to meet his, wavering to look at the waves. She wished she was anywhere on Earth but in front of him. The way he looked at her hurt. His face held the upmost gaze of betrayal, beautiful brown orbs burning you from the inside out.

Behind her ear held the mark that would cause wretching heartache. A dainty black tattoo rested, rooting anger between the two. Tattoos were meant to be meant to have a deep meaning, and her’s did. It was a sail boat. A symbol for the sea. Vast area of the unknown that humans did not get the privledge of ruining. Getting their hands and tainting the beauty it beheld. Embry did not mind her logic behind it, nor did he dislike her love for the sea. But the tattoo. He hated it. Disgust curled in his stomach, gripping his ribs like quicksand and pulling. He wanted to scream.

“You lied.”

His words came off venomously. A snake’s bite. Harsh syllables announciated with distrust. And pain. Mostly pain. You bit your lip to stop it from trembling. Crying would not solve the issue that was present because you betrayed him. Broke his heart a bit when you swore to guard it and protect the beautiful organ.

“I’m sorry, Embry. It was impulsive-”

He cut you off by shriveling back by your words. A cold laugh escaped his lips, “Damn right it was impulsive. Must’ve been if you couldn’t have talked to me about it.”

Fighting over a tattoo seemed dumb. But not in this situation. Embry was not mad that you got a tattoo. It was that the sailboat was your first tattoo. Years ago you promised Embry at the ripe age of 13 that you two would get your first one together. You a small sun and him a small moon. Both on your hips so that it would be a private thing. The ultimate proclamation of love. It was obvious as kids that you two were meant to be, even before you were his imprint. You were raised as best friends. Learned together. Aged together. Grew as individuals together. When the promise was made and 13 you had not yet been lovers, but it was a promise as two beings connected molecularly as best friends.

Even dating you two were still best friends. No one understood you like Embry, and no one ever would. His corny jokes made you laugh so hard that snorts would skip out of your nose. His hugs melted you to the bones. He made you feel complete. Best friends turned lovers, but best friends still for eternity.

“I didn’t tell you to avoid this! I knew a fight would ensue.” You cried out helplessly, feeling incredibly guilty but defensive at the same time.

“Why do it then? Or maybe consider taking to me about it, telling me at the least. You hid this for, well, it has to have been a while. Clearly healed.” He deadpanned, pointing to it like it cut his foot off.

“It’s been three weeks, Em.”

His eyes lit up in realization, “You wouldn’t have sex with me in the daylight. I figured it was just odd timing but no. Just blatantly lying to me to cover this up.”

Tears welled in your eyes at how removed your gentle boyfriend was. You didn’t recognize the person in front of you. Not that you didn’t fully deserve it, but it still stung to see the love of your life so repulsed by your actions. Your female best friend convinced you to get one with her when her long time girlfriend broke her heart. She said she needed it to heal. And you. Against your better judgement, your ass was in a leather chair while a needle plunged relentlessly into your skin. You loved her and wanted to be there for her. Your mind was foggy when it happened due to a few drinks in you too.

Your best friend knew that you and Em talked about getting tattoos together, but she didn’t know it was such a sacred vowel or else she never would have helped you break it. She got an eye that had a ring around it like a planet on her forearm. She was an artist and drew it up herself. It meant a lot to her. You loved her, but now you were paying for the actions.

“Y/bff/n made you get this?”

“What?! No! Of course not. I willingly did it, but a few drinks were in me. Which doesn’t excuse it, but she got one too. Not like marching or anything…”

Embry stared.

You scrambled to get in as much as you could without interruption, “Wholeheartedly my heart is pounding with guilt that I broke our pact to get our first tattoo together. But to be fair you already have yours.”

Embry shook his head in disbelief, “Are you fucking me right now? It wasn’t my choice to get this. It’s membership into the pack, Y/N. My culture.”

You sighed, “I know that Embry, and I’m not trying to disrespect that. I love you and the pack. I love your culture. Undoubtedly it’s your first tattoo though. We can get our second together.”

You tried to grab his hand but he pulled it away, searing a burn mark right into your heart. Rain pelted down even harder. What had been a nice beach date went to hell when Embry went to move your hair back to kiss your neck when he saw it. Usually you could dodge his attempts to get close to there, but you were so blissed out by his intoxicating kisses that your mind wasn’t all there. Ironically the weather went to shit as soon as fighting began.

“Don’t touch me. I don’t want to hurt you.” What you failed to notice earlier was that his hands were shaking. Typically you could caress his bicep or face and he would melt into you. Today the same touches would have the opposite effect. No matter how angry he was, he was terrified to harm you. Any wound inflicted by him would drive him crazy. He loved you. Forever. Even when he was furious he was cautious to keep you safe. This only made you feel worse.

“I think I rather have you physically hurt me than you be angry with me.” You mumbled, sniffling at how bad you just wanted to touch him.

He snarled. His veins bulged as he pointed at you, “Shut up! How dare you wish for something like that?”

“I don’t wish for that. I’m just saying us fighting is unbearable!”

“You just said you rather me hurt you physically! You want scars like Emily? You want me to be in withering pain and agony as you bleed on the floor?!” He bellowed, shaking even worse.

You let out a sob at his words. This all escalated too quickly. His eyes softened momentarily at your cry but his anger got the best of him as he reminded himself why you were crying. He scrambled to throw his clothes off. His body contorted until his grey wolf stood tall in front of you.

It whimpered, but turned and booked it for the woods. Leaving you alone with his clothes, the rain, guilt, heartache, and the beach. You slid down to your knees, clutching his shirt to your chest.

Emily’s wedding was tomorrow. She would look gorgeous in her wedding dress, smile beaming with every step down the aisle towards her wolf. Laughs, happy tears, and hugs would be shared between the wedding and reception. Of course dancing would be a necessity. You were unsure if you were going to be involved in their experience anymore. The pack loved you. You were one of them. But with Embry so upset and not knowing when you two would makeup, maybe it was for the best if you stayed home.

Half an hour later you were still on the beach crying. Jacob ran next to you, scooping you up in his strong arms. You snuggled into his warmth, wishing that it was Embry instead. After everything you still wanted him to be with you. Jacob took you home and helped you dry off before leading you into the shower to encourage you to take a hot shower. If you got sick Embry wouldn’t be happy with his packmate.

He sat in the livingroom as you got dressed in the bathroom. You sheepishly walked out, embarrassed of the state he had found you in. His large frame took up the lounge chair. Two cups of hot tea sat on the coffee table.

“For me?” You asked, gesturing to the cup. He picked one up and handed it to you before taking his own. It felt good going down your throat. Warm and reassuring.

“Embry should not have phased like that. He feels like an ass for losing control like that.” Jake began.

“He had enough control to strip first. I wasn’t in danger.” You assured.

Jake nodded, “I saw the whole fight go down. I was on patrol.”

You laughed sadly. Poor Jacob had to relive Embry’s anger and pain through the shared pack bond. He seemed to not be effected by it. You wondered how Embry was doing now. Texting him seemed like a bad idea. Especially with how things were left.

“It was an ugly fight. Worst one to date. His eyes held repulsion, Jake. Like he could barely look at me. This tattoo is giving me hell.”

Jake sighed, motioning for you to come sit next to him. You squeezed into the chair with him, resting on his lap. Jake was like your brother that would help you through anything. His warm hand rubbed your back lightly to assure you that he was there. He would always be there.

“Life is weird and there’s a lot that I don’t know. What I do know is that if anyone is meant to be together, it’s you two. Bonded and meant to be before he even shifted. Imprints are strong but you two are even more. This fight is a pebble that will chip away, I promise.”

“Thanks but I don’t know. He looked crushed. Phasing like that.. showing up to the wedding tomorrow might not be good. I’m not going.”

Jake recoiled, “What? Of course you have to attend! Emily wants you there. Screw Embry. Tomorrow is about Sam and Emily and they certainly need you there. You’re family.”

“Don’t say screw him.” You mumbled. Feeling defensive was part of the bond, “I will think about it.”

Jake ignored you scolding him because he understood the loyalty you felt for Embry. He felt the same exact way towards Reneesme. Rough times caused fighting like any other couple, but the bond required unconditional love and affection. Some portrayed it as toxic, but you didn’t. Relationships typically didn’t happen like this but you couldn’t stay mad at Embry while growing up. It was an impossible defeat.

“You’re a bridesmaid, not going would be terrible. Embry wants you there whether he admits it right now or not. I’ll come pick you up, make sure you go.”

You sighed, nodding. Lack of your presence would only cause a bigger rift between you two. On top of that, Emily would be crushed and that would make Sam frustrated towards you too. And that would lead to arguing between Sam and Embry because another wolf cannot be rude to an imprint. You helped plan this wedding and you deserved to be there. Jake was giving you big puppy dog eyes. Begging like Embry did. Begging that you could not deny.

“Fine.”

Jake stood up, “I will see your pretty face tomorrow.”

***

Hours later you laid in bed. Ceiling fan high blast cooling the room. Goosebumps danced across your skin, chilling you more than it should. Embry’s warm embrace should’ve sheltered you from the breeze, making the ceiling fan actually necessary compared to his radiating heat. He wasn’t with you tonight. You were alone. Restless. Where did he go if he didn’t come home to you? Was he on Jared’s couch? Sharing Quil’s bed like he did when they were kids? Back home with his mom?

Phone screen said 2:41. Four hours after you laid down. Sleep was battling you, heart beating too fast with each memory of the argument. His hurt tone rang through your ears. Past text messages assured you that things would get better between you two. His corny jokes and memes made joy fill you.

This fight was dumb.

Your thumbs typed out all the words you wanted to say and you were about to send it you saw three dots meaning that he was typing too. He was reaching out too! The three dots dissapeared with a lack of text. Mood officially dampened. Who knew texting could be an emotional roller coaster.

Hours later your ass was seated in an uncomfortable chair while your hair was being done. Makeup had been applied an hour ago and you already wanted it off. Your upset hands liked to rest on your face and makeup didn’t allow that. Emily and the other girls were chirpy. Gorgeous teeth on show from beaming. You did your best to match their mood. Key word, tried.

“Okay, you’re hair is done. Go get in your dress!” Emily cooed, hands on either side of your shoulder. You offered a smile.

Putting on the dress took help from Leah. She was in a sour mood. Her first love getting married to her cousin and all. It was reasonable and truly expected. She may be a shape shifter, but human she still was. Her warm hands zipped up the back of the dress. Leah sensed your bad vibe like second nature.

“Go find Embry, makeout for a minute and get over with whatever the hell this is. It’s ridiculous. You two are disgustingly in love. Fix it because it’s dragging us all down.” Her words were honest. Leah was always honest. Basically in her DNA.

You snorted, “We are not making out here. Im sorry that this is impacting you guys too, but this is not getting dealt with today. Emily and Sam are getting married.”

“Won’t be perfect if our favorite couple is on the outs.”

“Favorite couple?” You questioned.

She nodded as if her sentence was as obvious as stating that the vast sky was blue. You rolled your eyes and moved the bottom of the dress so that it was in place. The light pink silk dress suited you. It suited all of the bridesmaids. Nice dress. Emily had great taste. Speaking of the devil, Emily walked around the corner. Her brown eyes widened at the sight of you and Leah. As if it wasnt her wedding day. As if she wasn’t the most stunning looking woman for the day.

“Gorgeous! Oh my goodness, you both look amazing. Thank you for sharing this day with me,” her eyes shifted to her Leah, “Especially you, Leah. I know I don’t deserve your support considering what happened on your wedding day, but it means the world to me that you are here.”

“Yep.” Leah gave a tight smile. Emily’s face fell at the lack of words from her cousin. You sighed and nudged Leah. She rolled her eyes but tried, “This isn’t easy but I’m doing it. For you.”

Emily closed the distance between them and pulled her cousin in for a hug. Tension resides and still would for a while, but the bond was slowly mending. Cousin like sisters trying to reconnect. It was hard when Leah was the one who lost everything and Emily gained what she had. Leah still did have one thing. Seth. And you. Seth was her brother and best friend. He always had her back. But you did too. Days after Embry introduced you to the pack you befriended her.

You felt intrusive of the moment so you walked out into the hall. A few doors down led to the outside. Some fresh air would be lovely. Sunshine fluttered through the glass door when you arrived. Glancing outside you halted.

Embry.

Black material covered his toned body, rose sitting perfectly on his left peck. His brown floppy hair was styled perfectly. Your fingers longed to run through the thick locks. You should’ve been the one to help him do his hair rather than peaking at him behind a door like a child that is supposed to be in time out. He was standing with Jake and Quil. His two friends were laughing as Embry leaned against the wall. Not laughing. Although his face didn’t look miserable like yours did.

Jake’s eye caught yours and you froze, terrified of what would happen next. Talking to Embry in front of them would most likely cause more issues. You knew Jake would side with you and Quil would side with Embry. Quil was forever Embry’s best friend. Jake could see past that.

“There’s Y/N.” Jake spoke. Embry leaned off the wall and looked around for you. And there you were. Looking gorgeous as ever on the other side of the door. His face faltered into vulnerability as he realized how sad you looked. He did that. He made you sad. Before he could do anything you walked away. He grunted in annoyance, hitting the brick wall behind him.

“Fuck!”

Line up for walking down the isle was what you dreaded because obviously Embry was your match. Room silent as you grudgingly came to stand beside him. His eyes scanned over your beautiful face in sorrow. You busied yourself by picking at your nails. A tick that you did when you avoided confrontation.

Walking down the isle, an arm intertwined in his was mandatory. You did it. Sparks flew up your arm at touching him after so long. His warm skin blazed against yours pleasantly. During the wedding Embry kept stealing glances at you. You noticed and held his gaze when you could.

Sam and Emily’s vowels were beautiful. Raw and true words about their unconditional love. Hell Emily has scars on her face from his anger and they got past that. Certainly you could get over Embry shifting yesterday. He did look incredibly handsome across from you.

“I now pronounce you husband and wife.”

The crowd cheered as Sam and Emily kissed. He dipped her back like a princess and the cheers only got louder. Kim nudged your shoulder and you two shared a smile when they road off to the reception hall in their decorated car.

You contemplated how you would get to the reception yourself. You arrived with Jake but your body was buzzing with anticipation to touch your boyfriend. Fighting seemed pointless. Today was about love. And you loved eachother. This tattoo was permanent but so were you guys.

Embry was leaning against his truck when your knuckles tapped on the door. He jumped at the surprise but he calmed down when he saw it was you. Looking beautiful as ever. Your hair blew in the wind, giving him a nervous smile.

“You look gorgeous, baby.” He lowly said, gesturing to you.

You blushed, “Thanks. Not so shabby yourself, mister.”

“I love you.” He blurted, “I love you so much. I’m sorry for yesterday. I’m sorry for yelling at you. I’m especially fucking sorry for phasing.”

Your eyes watered as you walked straight into his blazing embrace. He scrambled to pull you as close as possible. Your hands clutched the fabric of his tux as his hands gently rubbed up and down your back. Your mind was flooding with euphoria at how close he was to you. Intoxicating. You hadn’t been this far away from Embry for so long since you were fifteen.

“I’m sorry for my tattoo. It was shitty of me not to talk to you about it.”

“I was just hurt that you got one without me. I wanted your first tattoo to be shared with me. It was selfish. You may be my imprint, but it’s still your body.” He confessed.

You pulled away so that you could look up at him, “Yes. My body is mine. But my soul is undoubtedly mixed with yours, belongs to you. Getting a tattoo doesn’t make that any less.”

An infectious smile broke out on his face. His hands cupped your face as he brought you closer, noses rubbing affectionately. His hand moved to your chain to raise it up, lips slotting quickly against yours. His tongue slipped into your mouth, eliciting a moan. You pulled back when you heard someone behind you two.

Jake stood there with a shit eating grin, “Was gonna ask if you needed a ride but you two clearly made up.”

“Shut up dude.” Embry groaned, pressing a few kisses to your cheek, “I missed her.”

“Yeah, as if the whole pack didn’t know that. See you guys at the reception.” Jake retorted.

“See ya Jake!” You called out.

“Think we can manage a quickie before the reception?” Embry asked, hands dangerously roaming your body as he lifted you into the truck. You laughed as you were put on your back in the backseat. Your head lifted to see that no other cars were in the parking lot. You hummed as he shut the door and climbed on top of you. His hands pushed the dress off from your shoulders, head dipping down to appreciate what was his.

“This is a church parking lot.” You teased as his tongue ran along your collar bone, hot saliva trailing behind. You grabbed his head and pulled it back up so that he could look at you.

“Yeah and? Everything about you is holy.”

You snorted, pulling him down for another kiss. His warm hands slipped under your dress and grabbed your thighs, soft flesh melting against his. He pulled your hips up closer to him, grinding into you. You moaned at how his body moved against yours, two bodys and basically one soul. His lips moved to press hot kisses to your neck until they sucked on your tattoo.

“I think I actually like this spotch of ink.” He murmured, running his tongue over it as he bunched up your dress to rest around your torso.

“Oh yeah?”

“Yeah. It’s hot.”

Twenty minutes later you two walked into the reception hall hand in hand. Embry was especially lovey after the ten minutes spent in his truck. You both made sure that no evidence of your quickie was present. Emily and Sam were sharing their first dance in the middle of the dance floor. You led him to your table where Jake, Quil, Jared, Kim, Paul, and Rachel sat. Seth and Leah sat with Sue and Charlie a table over.

“Hot make up sex?” Paul teased as Embry pulled your chair out for you.

You shook your head at his blunt question. It wasn’t like your sex life was a secret. Embry could not keep those thoughts to himself when he was shifted. Actually none of the boys could. It was how it went. Over time you got used to it. It wasn’t Embry’s fault.

“The best.” Embry said intertwining your hands, “But not that that’s any of your concern.”

Paul raised his hands in surrender. The hothead knew better than to overstep and disrespect a fellow wolf and imprint. That would lead to a fight and Sam would murder them.

“Don’t listen to Paul. We’re glad that you two fixed things.” Kim sweetly said. Her eyes were always so wide and kind.

“Yeah, bunch'a miserable kids in love. Embry was mopey all morning.” Jared added.

Embry rolled his eyes, thumb rubbing affectionately across the top of your soft hand, “Beg to differ..”

“Oh wanna bet, Call?! You leaned against walls and didn’t talk. Like uh,” Paul snapped his fingers as he tried to think of the word, “like a mute.”

“Love you man, but he’s right.” Quil spoke. Embry snapped his head to glare at his best friend. In return Quil sheepishly shrugged and sipped his water.

Embry then shifted towards you again, “Do you think any other wolf packs are around that I can join?”

You laughed at his deadpanned tone and lightly slapped his bicep, “You love them and you know it, bub.”

“Yeah, bub.” Rachel teased, a beautiful smile gracing her lips. Paul smirked with a profound proud feeling bubbling in his chest as he listened to his imprint.

Sam and Emily’s dance ended and the dance floor was opened up. Embry took this chance to escape the ragging from his friends to share a slow dance with you instead. His hands rested on the curve of your back while yours intertwined around his neck. His face bend down to be close to yours.

“So I was thinking about our tattoos…” Embry started.

You cocked a curious eyebrow, “Oh? And what conclusion did you arrive at?”

“Let’s get them tomorrow. Quil knows a guy who does some wicked cool ones and I just know he will make them exactly how we want. And why wait? Why did we not do it a year a or two ago?” He rambled, twirling you around and bringing you back into his arms.

“No clue why we waited. But.. I am so down for tomorrow. Sooner the better.”

He hummed happily, “Great. Tomorrow it is.”

Harry Style’s Adore You came on and you grinned, “You may be an ass at times Embry Call, but I adoreyou.”

“Thank you baby, but hey.” You looked into his loving brown eyes and waited for him to go on, “I’d walk through fire for you.”

Song lyrics or not, Embry Call would legit do anything for you, “Just let me adore you.” You responded.

He leant down to peck your lips, “That’s the only thing I’d ever do.”

Living with perfect creatures as an imperfect human is a real challenge. One you accepted without a doubt because it meant being with Demetri, your mate.

The fact that Demetri is part of the elite guard within the Volturi often results in you having to listen to rude comments from the lower guard. The insults varied from comments about your weight to comments about the way you dressed. But more often than not, there were threats about how easy it would be for them to hurt you. They’re right of course, there isn’t a lot you can do to protect yourself from vampires.

It was easier to ignore the comments about how you looked than the threats on your life. If there’s one thing you realised after you started seeing a vampire is how fragile your life is. There’ve been a few times when one of the guards took a hold of you. Luckily for you, before things would get too bad someone would always appear in the hallway.

—–

You pass a guard on the way to the kitchen. A scowl is already plastered on his face and he mutters something under his breath. You walk a little faster wanting to get out of there as soon as possible. Out of the corner of your eye you can see his hand shoot out. His hand roughly wraps itself around your upper arm. He’s about to say something to your face, but before he can he’s screaming out of agony. You’re positive that wasn’t your fault so you frantically look around and your eyes land on the twins.

Jane is focused on the guard crippling on the floor while Alec gives you a once over, looking for evident injuries as they make their way towards you. Alec’s eyes linger on your upper arm, making you look down. The bruises from the guard’s hand are forming rapidly. You lay your own hand over the bruises, hiding them from view.

When they reach you, Jane wraps her arm around your shoulders and escorts you to the throne room. Alec following behind with the guard.

When you enter the throne room only Caius is sitting on his throne with Felix next to him. A puzzled expression takes over his features as he takes in the scene in front of him. You walking in between Jane and Alec while Alec holds onto the dishevelled vampire.

Despite the rumours that Caius is as ruthless as they come, you actually get along with the king. You often converse about certain books or play a game of chess together.

“What’s the meaning of this,” Caius coldly asks, clearly not happy we interrupted his conversation with Felix.

You cower a little at the sound of his voice.

Alec pushes the guard forward. “We found him harassing, y/n.”

To accentuate Alec’s words, Jane removes your hand from the bruises. The handprint is clearly visible right now.

Felix rushes to the guard holding his neck in his hands, ready for an order from Caius. Ready to defend you, his best friend’s mate.

Meanwhile Caius’ face betrays nothing. But then his brows furrow while he looks at your bruises. He stands from his throne and walks until he’s standing in front of you. He takes your bruised arm in his hand while the fingers of his other hand caress bruises that already faded from earlier encounters.

“It seems like this wasn’t the first time,” he says, voice hard, making your breathing halt and Felix’s grip tighten.

“Was this the first time something like this has happened,” he softly asks you.

You cast your eyes down while slowly shaking your head ‘no’.

Before Caius can react, the doors open once more, revealing Demetri. He must’ve just gotten back from his mission and come here to report. You see his eyes take in the scene in front of him. Caius standing in front of you, still holding onto your arm. The twins flanking both of your sides. And Felix holding one of the lower guards in a death grip.

He falters in his steps, but recovers fast and saddles up next to you when Jane moves to make room for him. As soon as he stands next to you, he gives you a once over, his eyes immediately landing on the fresh bruises. Fury flares up in his eyes.

“Who did this,” he asks, his voice shaking as he tries to stay calm.

The guard practically answers his question by cowering.

“We walked in on him harassing, y/n. So we took him here. Master Caius was just evaluating the situation before deciding what to do. But then you waltzed in here, halting the process,” Jane answers him.

He simply nods before taking your hand in his, waiting for Caius’ verdict.

Caius walks towards his throne and sits down before he starts talking: “Y/n is part of the Volturi. Yes, she is human, but she is Demetri’s mate. And she will become one of us. Therefore every despicable action against her will be severely punished. Let this be a warning for all the other guards. Felix, you know what to do.”

And just like that, the guard’s fate is sealed. Demetri excuses the both of you and starts walking toward the doors, seconds before Felix rips the guard’s head off.

You silently walk next to Demetri as you make your way to your room. He’s clearly fuming and you can’t blame him. You can understand why. You never told him the other guards were bugging you. And when he comes home from a mission that took several weeks, he finds you bruised standing in front of Caius. He always swore to protect you and he must think he failed you somehow.

Once he closes the door to your bedroom, he starts: “Why didn’t you tell me? How long has this been going on? How could you keep this from me? You’re supposed to tell me when people are hurting you.”

Worry, anger, frustration, hurt. All those emotions are clear in his expression. You sit down on the bed and fumble with the hem of your shirt.

“I just didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. They were just stupid comments, okay? There was just no reason to make a big fuss about it. I knew it would worry you and I didn’t want to add more stuff on your plate. You have so many important things to do and my thing seemed silly. I also didn’t want to seem weak by letting a couple of comments get to me. I’m already viewed as weak within these walls.”

Demetri stands in front of you, he takes one of your hands in his while he uses his other to pull your chin up. Your eyes meet his.

“I want to know when something is bothering you. It doesn’t matter if it’s trivial or not. I need to know if I want to protect you, my love,” he sweetly responds.

“I know, I’m sorry,” you whisper.

He sends you a dazzling smile before your lips meet his in the sweetest kiss.

Summary: The plan was supposed to be simple, but instead you find yourself hiking in the woods with four Volturi guards. It appears that you’re the perfect entertainment for two of them. Eventually, you get fed up with their jokes, but Felix is there to comfort you.

This wasn’t the plan. The original plan was nice and easy. Felix was supposed to come to your house so you could go to the airport and hop on a plane to Volterra together. Instead you found Jane, Alec and Demetri at your door when you were about to leave for the airport. They’re the reason why you’re currently hiking in the woods.

For someone as clumsy as you, this isn’t the smartest idea. Logically, the hiking path isn’t paved. Instead, it’s earth with scattered loose rocks. Not the most steady ground, it has already caused you to trip a couple of times and you’re only ten minutes into the hike.

The twins, walking in the front, have the time of their life laughing at you every time you stumble. Demetri walks in front of you and Felix is walking behind you. Let’s just say you have tested their reflexes in a new way. You still don’t understand why Felix thought it would be a good idea to take you along with them.

After you stumble once more and Felix steadies you, you grumble: “I’m so sick of this. Why’d you make me tag along?”

Felix intertwines his fingers with yours while you continue walking in front of him. “Because, my love, this way we can immediately leave for the airport when we have the vampire.”

You sigh. “I didn’t sign up to be the twins’ laughing stock. You know how clumsy I am. It was clear this would be a disaster, even before we started.”

“Don’t mind them. They’re always like that, laughing at everything and everyone.”

“That’s easier said than done when you’re not the person they’re laughing at.” You stumble over another loose rock and the twins’ cackling reaches your ears loud and clear. “I’m so done with this.”

Felix makes you turn around so you’re looking at him. His hands rest on the side of your head while he intensely stares in your eyes. “We’re almost there. Their teasing will stop once we have the vampire in our custody. I adore your clumsiness, it’s adorable.”

You scoff. “It’s not adorable if I fall to my death in a ravine.”

“Good thing I’m here to catch you,” he says while winking.

What’s For Dinner (Carlisle Cullen x Reader)

Heyyyyyy, I’m back with the daddy carlisle content, this was request by an anonymous. Enjoy!

When Carlisle met (y/n) he felt like the situation was made by God himself, she was an intern from New York that she found out about how good of a doctor Carlisle is and wanted to learn from him, he remembered that the college she was attending had asked him to come and meet the students, he of course had agreed and gave one lecture to the ones that wanted to listen yet somehow he had missed (y/n) who apparently was mesmerized by him and chose the small hospital in forks for her last internship so she could get her degree.

Other than the fact that Carlisle felt honored for having a young doctor tell him she was inspired by him, he found her extremely beautiful, she radiated love with that smile that lit up the room, her voice felt like music and her unfiltered loud laugh was so authentic, you could tell it came from within. She wasn’t spreading love, she is love, she what love looks like to him.

When it came to asking her out he waited for her to clock out, although that was the hardest part since (y/n) seemed to be charged rather than having the need to sleep, to be quite fair the bags under her marvelous eyes indicated that she was in much need of a good night’s sleep but she seemed in such bliss while she worked, the others had to basically kick her out when her shift was over.

“Excuse me, before you go… I want to ask you something”

“What? Did I do something wrong?”

“No no, I… umm… would you like to go out for dinner?”

(Y/n) stood there staring at Carlisle. She had been crushing over him for a while now but she assumed he was either married or had a companionship, he was a very private man.

“Like, as a date?”

“Yes”

-

“Come on! Those things are such a scam!”

She yelled in irritation as the game buzzed once again, Emmett had managed to find this little game called “operation” and now (y/n) was trying to prove her entire degree over a board game. Carlisle was in the kitchen cooking as he heard his son’s victorious laugh masking (y/n)’s annoyed groan.

“Oh that’s alright human, you’ll get it next time”

“Stop calling me that”

She snapped back as Emmett took his turn. Rosalie was sitting next to (y/n) just watching the two, from all of them Rosalie seemed to be the most fond of (y/n), don’t get it wrong the others loved her but Rosalie had the biggest soft spot. Maybe because (y/n) always said how she is in no rush to become immortal, she loved her immortality and also joked how she wanted to pass Carlisle’s “legal” age. Other than that their common ground is how (y/n) had confessed she wanted to become a mother, have a kid to nurture and see it grow.

“This is bullshit”

“Ah ah language young lady”

“I’m sorry grandpa, want to go outside and maybe see the bears? Oh I forgot you are not really friends with them”

Rosalie couldn’t help but giggle at the little dig (y/n) made towards her husband. Emmett just stood there shocked before getting up to pick (y/n) and place her over her shoulder and started to walk outside. (Y/n) and Emmett were chaotic together, they fought like siblings and to the others even though there was a mild concern about her wellbeing they found it extremely entertaining.

“These two will never stop”

Carlisle whispered as he followed Rosalie out to find the two little kids that were trapped in grown bodies. They found them as Emmett still had her over his shoulder while (y/n) tried to bite his arm at a desperate attempt to cause him pain.

“Apologize mortal”

“I’d rather chop my boobs off”

“Ok, Emmett please put her down”

Emmett decided to listen to Carlisle after he huffed in a disappointed manner and then placed her down while (y/n) fixed her hair.

“You’re lucky my man is holding me back or I would bite your hand off”

“I’d like to see you try”

Carlisle couldn’t help but smile at the sight of the girl going on her tiptoes to reach Emmett’s height and still couldn’t really compare, who could blame her though? Emmett was known because of his tall and well built figure.

“Come on Emmett, we have to go hunting and (y/n) has to eat”

“See ya around bear boy”

(Y/n) said as she skipped over to Carlisle and gave him a big hug. Carlisle seemed to relax under her touch and forget all the types of trouble she is causing with her playfulness when she is out of her blue scrubs. His hand went to her hair as he stroked it before placing a kiss at the top of her head, when the others walked away she looked at him with those sparkling hues that seemed to never leave his mind.

“What’s for dinner?”

“I made you some shrimp pasta”

“Sounds delicious. Come on chef I will taste your masterpiece and then you can taste my mom’s”

“Your mom’s masterpiece?”

“Me”

Lamb For Slaughter (Aro Volturi x Reader)

So I finally found out how to put a tittle through my phone so we are back in business babies. This was requested by anon, Enjoy!

Bella and (Y/n) have been inseparable since she arrived in Forks, she was the one that helped her feel comfortable and welcomed the most out of everyone. She understood that Bella was not used to people taking into consideration how she felt or what she wanted, so (y/n) felt like it was necessary and helped her grow a bit of a backbone.

However, all her work went out the window when her boyfriend Edward left her. She became miserable, depressed and refused to heal from the heartache, (y/n) was a few years older than Bella so she had a grasp of how a break up at that age could make you feel lost and misunderstood so she remained a vague help in the shadows, trying to help Charlie in this process.

“Never in a million years I thought I would end up in this type of situation”

(Y/n) said to Alice as they walked towards the big entrance of where the “vampire royalty” lived. Alice gave her a ghost of a smile and it took no genius to see that she felt particularly nervous.

(Y/n) felt no empathy for her, especially now when in just a span of an hour she found out vampires existed, that they were vampires and apparently they were in trouble at the vampire police? She wished she was dreaming or joking yet they were no sight of cameras and she vividly remembered waking up from her nap hours ago.

As Alice effortlessly opened the big and what looked like quite a heavy door, only to be met by two tall strange men dressed in black, a shirtless Edward and a slightly disheveled Bella.

“Hello Demetri, Felix”

Alice greeted them as she took off her sunglasses. The two men looked at (y/n) with surprise before smiling.

“Another mortal, Aro won’t be pleased”

“She has nothing to do with this”

Bella defended her as (y/n) tried to look confident under their gaze, she felt like she was under a microscope and most importantly that her life was at risk.

“Aro will be pleased, she is here for a reason”

“Am I? And if I am then what is the reason?” (Y/n) thought, still choosing to remain silent and observe the scene.

Before Alice could answer a young female voice was heard in the distance.

“Enough”

“Jane”

Edward was heard in a very shy and almost scared demeanor that made (y/n) hands get sweaty. As the extremely young girl approached and took off her hood you could see her red hues glistening that brought shivers in (y/n)’s spine.

“Aro send me to see what’s taking so long”

At that they all silently followed the girl like sheep followed the leader. She could feel that something was not going to go well at the pit of her stomach yet she couldn’t understand what would happen next.

As Jane opened the doors she was met with three men sitting in chairs a few steps higher than the marble floor, certifying their distance and higher standards than the others that walked in.

As soon as she walked in she felt tense and under a spell, the air felt stuffing like she could not take another breath or her lungs would explode.

“How wonderful, Bella is alive after all, isn’t that wonderful? I love a happy ending, but they are so rare”

A man with long black hair and extremely fair complexion approached them, he seemed like the leader since his chair was more out front. He was firstly walking towards Edward but before he could fully stand in front of him the man froze. He had a strange aura surrounding him, made (y/n) get very hyper aware of her surroundings when they locked eyes.

“And… who is that?”

He asked in a high pitched yet kind of child like voice, it was disturbing to say the least. His entire presence resembles a lunatic to her yet he seemed very intrigued by her.

“That’s (y/n) she is a friend”

“Friends, what an amazing bond to have. Allow me to introduce myself then dear (y/n)… I am Aro”

He said as he extended his arm to her. She gave him hers and he placed a slight kiss on her palm, his hands felt like solid ice against hers. Aro took a deep inhale of her scent that made him feel like his lungs were on fire and her blood was the antidote.

“Aaaaahh quel dolce profumo” (that sweet smell)

He said as she took her hand back in a swift motion. Bella was trying to understand what was happening while Edward felt torn between what was the right thing to do in this situation.

“I don’t understand”

“Of course you don’t dearest, do not be afraid of me, I want to protect you”

Aro reassured her yet she didn’t feel relaxed, quite the opposite actually. As her eyebrows furrowed Alice pushed her a bit closer to Bella.

“What is going on?”

“Il mio cantante” (my singer)

“Can you stop with the Italian? And somebody please explain this to me”

She grew frustrated as her voice became louder. Alice decided that it was time someone helped (y/n), mostly because she felt bad, she saw what could happen if Aro saw her. She could help them survive

“You are Aro’s mate, like Bella is to Edward”

“Excuse me?”

She could not believe it. There was no way her fate would be this crazy man that stood before her, it was baffling to her.

“There must be a mistake here”

“I’m wounded dear, I could give you the world”

Aro said without showing a hint of emotion. In his mind this was the most marvelous news, there she stood, his true second in command and he was sure she would make a great one. Another diamond for his coven

“Edward, what is going on?”

“I’m afraid Alice is right (y/n)”

“No, I’m not going to stay here. I have a life of my own”

“Unfortunately dearest I can’t possibly let you go now, you belong here”

“I belong where my heart wishes and trust me my heart wants to get out of here”

“That could be arranged”

The blonde hair man that sat in the back silently watching hissed at her. At this point (y/n) fell in survival mode and if it was this strange man who could be her punching back then so be it.

“I’m not talking to you fu-”

Alice did not allow her to finish her sentence. She clapped her hand over (y/n)s mouth and pulled her back for everybody’s safety

“It’s for your own good”

Alice whispered in her ear while Aro went into a laughing fit. Alice freed her one (y/n) looked a bit more calm and less dangerous.

“She has a fire in her, you will be one of my greatest additions”

(Y/n) hasn’t felt this helpless in ages, she valued her free spirit and the need to feel alive by choosing her fate at her own time. Now she was standing on a dead end that others forced her in.

“You knew about this? That’s why you brought me here? Like a lamb for slaughter”

She turned to Alice, the feeling of betrayal written all over (y/n)s face. She didn’t understand why Alice insisted in her tagging along but now it all made sense, she was a simple sacrifice for her beloved brother.

“It’s not like that-”

“Okay, explain then”

Alice started looking around as her scattered thoughts did not help her to come out with an explanation to justify her actions.

“I’ll stay here, just let them go please”

(Y/n) stated as she focused on Aro. She could sense what her future meant for her, she would become like them, eternally young.

“The girl knows too much, she is a liability”

The blonde one threw his two cents in. Even though she was caught in this because of them she felt pity for them, she saw first hand how Bella had become because of Edwards absence.

“Consider this as a deal, I won’t put a fight on anything you need me to do but they will leave unharmed. Bella will become a vampire eventually”

“This is a rare occasion, however I feel charitable, take them away demetri. Would you like to say goodbye to your friends?”

Aro asked her. She felt he back tense up at those words, an ironic smirk painted her lips

“Friends? What a funny word.”

Aro instructed Demetri to take them away with a simple hand motion while (y/n) felt tears cloud her eyes. As she heard them walk away Aro came closer to her and placed his hands on the sides of her face in a way to soothe her. His coldness reminded her for what’s about to come, making her legs tremble.

“You’ll be safe here dearest, you don’t have to worry about anything”

I would like to share that yes this was the girl who thought Sam Uley was her dad, this was the girl who had a bag packed under her bed just in case the pack came to get me when you guys read these stories that I post about when I was younger getting into to twilight THIS WAS ME AT THE TIME LMAO IN MY HELLO KITTY NIGHT GOWN AT 8 YEARS OLD LMAO

Thinking about the time when I watched breaking dawn PT 2 for the first time and I saw the scene/vision that seth died and I literally thought I was dying. When I saw his wolf go limp I literally ran out and I mean RANNN out my brothers room (which is where I was watching it) sobbing crying and I mean I was literally having a break down. I was so heart broken I couldn’t handle it, I was saying to myself “I should have been there to protect him !” And “this is why I should have been there” and of course my brother is literally dying laughing at me and my mother is gravely concerned and confused as to what is happening. My brother was trying to tell me to just watch the rest but I told him “I feel it, the imprint bond… It’s gone” and I was crying because I thought I was literally going to DIE because Seth died I also yelled out “I hope you guys are happy, you guys kept me from my imprint and now he is dead and soon I will too!” …. Eventually I came back to watch the rest of the movie and was crying even more when I saw Leah sacrifice herself… then I saw that it was a vision and I was LIVID let me tell you I WAS PISSED. I hated Alice so much for that and held such a grudge for her because of that…. So bad that I told myself “I’m gonna tell my dad that she broke the treaty so they can rip her apart”… anyways thanks for coming to my twilight talk

  • theme:jealousy
  • warnings:jealousy, possessive!rosalie
  • fandom:twilight

Rosalie would never like to admit it but she was the jealous type. She hated seeing people get close to you. Especially the humans that you two went to school with.

There were times where you’d be talking to your schoolmates and Rosalie would appear and drag you off somewhere. She’d always come up with an excuse for doing so of course. Her pride made it difficult for her to confess that she was scared of losing you.

Despite Rosalie not vocalizing her jealousy out loud, it was easy for you to tell that that was what was going on. For a while you let it go but you brought it up when she forced you to leave behind a girl from your class who you were speaking to.

“If you’re jealous of other girls you should just say so” you blurted out, making Rosalie stop in her tracks.

Turning toward you, with her hand still gripping your wrist, Rosalie’s eyes changed into a deep shade of crimson. As if an animalistic urge took over you, she growled. “You’re mine and no one else’s. They don’t deserve to speak to you”.

As soon as the words leave her lips, Rosalie’s eyes go wide as if surprised by herself. She wasn’t sure where that came from and she thought you may start arguing with her but on the contrary, you chuckled. “It’s good that you’re really pretty when you’re possessive” you smirked, kissing her cheek. “Fine, I’ll spend some time with you now”.
