Flight history was written in the Çatalca Tunnel in Turkey. The Italian pilot Dario Costa managed to fly through two car tunnels in a row with his propeller plane. At (152,236 mph) 245 kilometers per hour, he held his plane just under three feet above the ground.

With his flight Costa set a new world record. Never before had a pilot flown through a tunnel for so long. But the daring maneuver is not for the faint of heart.

Im Çatalca Tunnel in der Türkei wurde Fluggeschichte geschrieben. Der italienische Pilot Dario Costa schaffte es mit seiner Propellermaschine durch zwei Autotunnel hintereinander zu fliegen. Mit 245 Kilometern pro Stunde hielt er sein Flugzeug knapp einen Meter über dem Boden.

Mit seinem Flug stellte Costa einen neuen Weltrekord auf. Noch nie zuvor war ein Pilot so lange durch einen Tunnel geflogen. Doch das gewagte Manöver ist nichts für schwache Nerven.

La storia del volo è stata scritta nel tunnel atalca in Turchia. Il pilota italiano Dario Costa è riuscito a volare attraverso due tunnel automobilistici di fila con il suo aereo a elica. A 245 chilometri all'ora, ha tenuto il suo aereo a un metro dal suolo.

Con il suo volo Costa ha stabilito un nuovo record mondiale. Mai prima d'ora un pilota aveva volato in un tunnel così a lungo. Ma la manovra audace non è per i deboli di cuore.
