I managed to finish a pair of vanilla socks this week. The yarn is Knit Picks #felici in the Cheshire Grin colorway. The contrast color is Stroll in Duchess Heather.

One must always have an on-the-go project. For me that is a pair of socks. I’ve been making steady progress on my Texture Time but from all the bus waiting and diving I have finished a sock.

In regards to the racism discussions happening here on Instagram and in the knitting community, I am catching myself up with this and I applaud all of those already engaged in the discussion. As a faith leader it is work I need to do as well not just for myself but for my congregations. I plan to share more as I formalize my thoughts.

A little bit of Kefir and relaxing sock knitting before we leave our hotel and set off for our last day in Amsterdam. Our flight is not until 9pm, so we have got plenty of time for a few things I had on my list. We have booked tickets to see Christopher Robin at Pathe Tuschinski cinema and then we are off to Botanical Gardens. However I am so looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight! Today is shaping up to be pretty green , even my nails match the new cast on - sock in beautiful @knit_picks Hawthorn sport weight, which I’m knitting on 2.75mm (also knit picks’)dpns, so far I like the tension and the fabric I am getting .
