A week of loungewear, for fun! Just wanted to draw some of my clothes. It was a high of 70 last Wednesday, and today it’s 25. Just. ???
Monday: Cozy
Tuesday: Grumpy about warm
Wednesday: Went for a nice walk because warm
Thursday: Sleeeeepy and rain
Friday: The “Critical Role is being stressful” mood

I work in an animation studio, and people often give each other sticky note doodles to put on their monitors–and recently that amped up into a “tiefling war” between some people. For some reason this very tiny format just really spoke to my brain and I’ve been getting weirdly elaborate with my tiny sticky note illustrations?? Let me tell you, that paper is not meant to hold so much ink–but it’s been really fun anyway. This fear of perfection goes away in a 3x3 format.

Something I’ve had in progress for a while, and hope to finish eventually. I attempted to join a gallery show a couple months ago (”attempted” being the operative word here, the gallery was announced a ….week before submissions were due), and the theme of the show was “a self portrait that’s not a self portrait.” That can be taken a lot of ways, but I chose to take it as…. items in my life I think represent me. My knick knacks, my journals, my clothes, my games, my food choices. Things that are never far from me.
