Commission for my wonderful fiance @excessively-english-jd Who wanted a something quite specific. He was inspired by Mika’s song “Good guys” and specifically the lyric that quotes Oscar Wilde “Some of us in the gutter are looking up at the stars.” I’m so pleased with how this has turned out and have been Really enjoying doing commission work lately :)

I did a bunch of drawings/paintings of my dnd character Soren. I’m pretty pleased with how he’s ended up looking overall! I love character design its honestly one of my fave parts of the character creation process - sometime I’ll draw a bunch of my previous characters together.

Okay turning this into a series! Which you can find on my redbubble over in my important links. (They make the cutest little fridge magnets).
The aim here is to try and capture different periods/decades ect through watercolour portraits featuring only the head and shoulders of the character. Right now I’ve done the 20′s, 40′s and 80′s. I have plans for designs going as far back as medieval periods.
Let me know if you like the set so far and if you’d like me to try a particular decade/period!

Happy New Year!
Had a huge amount of support for this flash sheet and a few requests for prints so I finally got round to getting some done for my etsy!
Will hopefully be doing more prints of flash sheets this year.
