.My New Luxury Summer Love | NEOM Wild Mint & Mandarin Body Scrub.

Over the past year I’ve picked up a real penchant for pampering and for me a luxurious body scrub is the crème de la crème. I’ve found a couple in the past that have truly excited me including Neom’s Real Luxury Body Scrub* and to my glee they’ve only gone and released another one with this stunning Great Day Wild Mint & Mandarin Body Scrub* (£34)!

You many have also noticed the super slick new packaging design that comes along with this new scent – I absolutely love it! With their new white and black labels NEOM now fits in right at home on the shelf with my other higher end beauty products and looks incredibly smart. Fancy new labels aside, a scrub is only as good as in contents and I’m happy to report that this beautiful new scent is simply to die for.  It smells like summer wandering through an orchard with a mojito in hand - a real zingy, refreshing scent and as always the essential oils leave your skin feeling so soft after use I often find I can skip moisturiser altogether. I like to use mine before a night out as a luxury way to pamper and invigorate me into the party mood!

A little goes a long way with NEOM scrubs so although the £34 price tag may seem a little daunting in comparison to those you find on the shelf in Boots, you really do get what you pay for. A fantastic way to exfoliate and moisturise your skin and add a little bit of luxury into your shower session with a scent that fills the room as soon as you open the lid. I’m crossing fingers NEOM keep bringing out scrubs for all their scent ranges because I will quite happily work my way through every single one!

You can find all of NEOM’s stunning candles and skin care products on their website here - they’re fast becoming one of my absolute favourite brands.

Have you tried this new body scrub scent? What’s your favourite NEOM product?

Implement Tip!

The Body Shop has a mean bath brush that makes me lose my shit. It’s 40% off + free shipping in the U.S. until today 8/20/18. (So it comes to a little under $10 with tax.)

I just ordered one because my sense of self-preservation is clearly non-functional today.

(This isn’t an affiliated link. I’m just being helpful because I’m all for other people getting mean spankings. )

Hello and welcome! Unless you have been living in the middle of nowhere many of you would know (and hopefully understand) that we are currently in the middle of a global pandemic. With no signs of the current global crises ending it’s up to us a humans and global citizens to do the right thing - and today that right thing is wearing a mask when out in public.

Now up until this last week the Australian government has said that wearing a face mask is pretty much up to you. It won’t necessarily prevent you from getting sick but it can prevent those around you from getting sick if you are. However, since then the Aus Government has changed their decision. It is now mandatory in Victoria to wear a face mask if you are going out in public and let’s be real, it won’t be long before the rest of us are made to follow suit.

I have been talking on Instagram a lot about this issue. I even posed the question ‘Should we be wearing face masks?’ to my followers and pretty much everyone said YES YOU SHOULD! There were people from all over the world that said if you’re going outside you should be wearing a mask. I am so glad to see so many of my friends and fellow Aussies jumping on board. (See my instagram highlight ‘masks’ to follow the discussion here )

So the question now is, where do I buy one? Well firstly if you are going to be wearing one everyday you should be buying a few because the first rule of reusable masks is that you need to wash it after every use (ie everyday a mask should go into the washing pile). Yes, you read that correctly once worn it needs to be washed. In a washing machine, with hot water, and detergent because that is the only way the germs that we all breathe out will die.

Now we have that first and most important rule out of the way here is a list of where to buy masks in Australia online. Be sure to get in quick before panic buying begins ;) Hope this helps you!

1. Cotton On

These are my favourite so far. They retail at $9.99 and are selling out fast. So far they are only available online but will be coming into stores mid August. I love these for two reasons 1) All the proceeds go to the Cotton On Foundation which helps kids in Uganda, South Africa, Thailand and Australia get an education and access to basic necessities like clean water and food. Read more about it here 2) It has a adjustable drawstring so you can tighten your mask to fit your face.

2. Bloch Au

This dance store is doing good. I think these Bloch Au masks are my favourite design fit so far. Costing $13.95 for one or $39.95 for a 3 pack. They come in three colours - white, tan and black. They have options for mens and women’s as well as kid sizes.
