Portrait one in my new series of realistic disney characters. We are starting out with one of my favorites, Belle!
Portrait 8 in my watercolor brands series. This was created with the La Petite Aquarelle watercolors by Sennelier. These are their student brand of watercolors. They are light and beautiful in color, but I found layering to be difficult as the paint lifted the previous dried layer of paint I already put down. So, dark areas were difficult to build up, which is why I added a black outline.
Marie Antoinette was quite fashion forward in her day and had some eccentric and super fun hairstyles that she made popular! The inner pirate in me loved this ship inspired look.
