AW: Do you have any particular message or theme that you would like to deliver to the audience of [Wolfwalkers]?
TM: Yes, I suppose ultimately the film is about seeing beyond the assumed boundaries of society and its expectations of us. That we can transform ourselves according to our true nature and find our “tribe”, as it were, without having to mold ourselves to fit our society.
Every year on St. Patrick’s Day, I draw a character from Cartoon Saloon to see how my digital art skills improved. At first it was Aisling from “The Secret of Kells,” but ever since last year I started doing Robyn & Mebh from “Wolfwalkers.”

I tried to emulate the Wolfwalkers style as close as I could with the very sketchy lines, its obviously not as smooth as their animation but I kinda like it :D This is my oc from one of my warrior cats stories, he is the companion of dovepaw who is a blind she cat who gets lost on her journey and meets up with this big boi, he’s very cold and harsh at first due to losing his pup (thats what this part is about) but eventually the pair become inseparable :D
