So…I thought I finally show ya’ll my version of Queen Bast for Duel Links. Just as a heads up, reason I have been putting it off is due to her normal position. The first one never sit right with me. So, I decided to redraw it and she came out WAY better. So yeah, there you have it. We have her at just normal pose, summoning pose, and the defeat pose. I really don’t have much else to say. lol

So…someone who drew me a lovely Atem/Bast pic mentioned about a wedding, and I figured…you know what, I should draw up a wedding pic for these two. I decided on their ancient Egypt one. Cause these two have a couple of weddings. One here of course. And another is when they are in modern times as well as have their own bodies. Their second wedding is more like renewing their vows and becoming official in the modern era. For this, I looked up about weddings in Egypt, and there isn’t exactly much that goes on with it. But considering Atem is the prince and heir to the throne, there will be a celebration. I also decided that what he wears is the outfit he is seen wearing for a brief moment in the flashbacks. I also decided to have Bast wear something different as well. I have to admit, I really do like how this came out. Having people love my characters always inspires me to keep going. :3 So thank you all!

I honestly needed to draw these two when they were younger. Since I posted them being babies, why not draw them as children next. For them, they have been close friends since they met when they were babies. Atem took it upon himself to always look after Bast since she was born weak. Luckily, she managed to survive and continue to grow into a pretty little girl. It’s not doubt that she will one day become a very beautiful young woman. Nubit also made sure to teach and train her daughter to be a proper lady. But don’t worry, Nubit isn’t harsh on her daughter. She’s strict but she means well. Plus she is always willing to listen to Bast if she wants to do something. It’s why Bast enjoys spending time with Atem (and Mana as well) since she can be around them. Atem loves spending time with Bast since she sees him as a person and not a prince. I did use a ref off of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time picture to get their poses down. They came out so adorable. :3 Next up is probably going to be their wedding picture. XD

When she opened her eyes, he was the first thing she saw. And he was the first one to see her smile despite how weak and fragile she was from birth. And despite not knowing why, Atem decided to always be there for Bast. I have always wanted to draw these two as babies. They’re both so cute. T-T And yes, this is where they first meet. I decided that when Bast was born, she was born very weak. To the point the medics of Egypt were convinced she would die very soon. This would certainly devistate Nubit since she had already lost her husband. The baby she had would be the only thing to have her remember her husband by. But thankfully, she manages to get through. Thus, Nubit names her Bast, after the Egyptian Goddess. And Atem plays a big role of Bast not dying. Something about how they saw each other seemed to click, even though they were just babies. Atem is only over nine months older than Bast. He would take it upon himself to always help her. Gah! I love these two so much! Next up is going to be them as kids. :3 enjoy!

Sometimes, even when a sketch didn’t come out so well, coloring it manages to fix it. And I am also glad to keep drawing these two. Anyway, yes, I think it’s pretty obvious what is going on here. The spirits of the Puzzle and Wand spend the entire day together. Makes sense because Yugi figured Yami Catzi would be able to help Yami Yugi out of his gloom. Catzi agrees to this plan as well. This date will certainly help with the relationship between the two, especially with their forgotten memories and love starts to surface somewhat. Again, one thing I love about this is having these two fall in love all over again. Atem doesn’t know why he wants to protect Bast, but if anyone tries to either threaten or flirt with her, you bet your ass he will step in to protect her. He certainly shows that when Johnny Steps tries to put the moves on her. Bast can dance, though she isn’t as good at it as Tea, she did use to dance back in ancient Egypt. Also, this episode would be where Yami Catzi actually finally learns her real name. But her poor husband doesn’t. So he’s still stuck as Yami. How would they react to seeing they were married to each other back then? Shocked, but try to go through with it. It’s pretty much a start to their relationship.

Two nitpicks I have with this…I drew Yami’s second belt on the wrong side and I forgot to include the bag Yami Catzi was carrying with her. But oh well…I STILL HATE DRAWING AND COLORING CHAINS!!! other than that, I do like how this came out. And yes, I finally actually drew a background and it came out just fine! I am shocked!!! Of course I did make sure to look into the scene so I know. But hey, take what I can get!

Start of a new year, I figured I also post this. Man, I remember back when I showed just the first two pics and I was proud of how Bast came out. And honestly. I still am. But I seriously wanted to show just how far I have come. Keep in mind that I stopped drawing YGO about 8 years ago and only just recently started drawing it again this past year. And let me tell you, I am seriously proud of how well I have gotten and how I have a better grasp of the YGO style and of my anatomy. Bast actually looks just as how I envisioned and I love seeing how far I have made her. It really is amazing of how much I have changed her but also to be better too. T-T For her being my first ever character, that’s saying something.

“Bast, I may not make it out of here alive. If I don’t, I want you to run away.”

“No, I am not leaving you.”

“But–”

“Do you honestly think I would just leave you behind? Forget it, I am staying with you. I made a vow to always be your side, no matter the circumstances.”

“But Bast, if you stay…there is a chance you’ll die.”

“I don’t care. I rather die by your side than to keep on living without you. I will help you seal away the evil.”

“Even if I manage to succeed, if you stay, not only will our souls be sealed away, but both our memories of each other will be wiped. We will become strangers…”

“I believe that no matter what happens, regardless if we will lose our memories, our love will be strong enough to bring us back to each other. I believe in you, Atem. I love you.”

“…I love you, Bast. Thank you.”

I feel bad for having to neglect these two sometimes, because I really do love them. Developing Bast as well as her relationship with Atem has made me love these two so much. I can honestly feel their love for each other. Even when their memories of each other have been wiped away, their love is still there. It just has to be reawakened. By the time the series ends, with their memories back, their love is much stronger than ever before. Having them to go through so much and realizing how much they meant to each other as well as their friends, it can really tug at your heart strings. I feel the reason I haven’t drawn them enough is because I haven’t been getting any good ideas of drawing them. I tend to get artist block almost as much as writer’s block, and it’s freaking annoying. Oh well, I am glad to least draw them here and now.

Happy Halloween! I figured this would be the perfect pic to post on Halloween. Though it is kinda sad I wasn’t able to write this episode in time for the holiday itself, but eh what can you do? At least I managed to color this. I’m sure everyone is aware of this episode. It’s one of my favorites. I like how it ties into the manga and having these guys as their favorite monsters. For Catzi, I’m sure you guys have already guessed who she is. Let me just say that drawing these pictures is not easy. Full figures at least. I am really happy with they all came out for sure. Once again, I hope everyone has a safe holiday! And enjoy!

My first ever fandom. And also the first to introduce my characters Catzi and Bast. I love this series so much. T-T Though I only care about the original one. GX, 5Ds, ect, yeah I could give a shit about those because honestly, they were just made to keep the game Duel Monsters going. None of the characters or stories in them ever interest me unlike the original YGO. Anyway, for this picture, I decided to draw up all the main characters of YGO. And yes, that includes Ryou Bakura. One thing I hate about the anime is how much they neglect poor Ryou. I never understood why. Which is why in the series I am rewriting, he will be in a lot more. You’re going to see how. Also, this picture is a cover art for my rewriting YGO series on Quotev. Yes, I am rewriting the series. There will be major differences and it’s not because my characters are in it. Anyway, that is all I have to say on the matter. Man it feels good to be drawing these characters. T-T I missed them all so much!

I’m sure you guys have seen this pose before. It’s from the manga, with Pharaoh Atem riding. I decided to ref off of that and have Bast riding behind him. As I have said, these two were close and loved each other very much. Regardless of the danger, Bast would do anything to help out her husband. Atem at first would try to keep his wife out of harms way, but she isn’t going to be sitting on the sidelines and letting her beloved do everything without her. It’s why they end up in thei Millennium items. I really don’t have much else to say here other than I really do love how this came out. The background of course was borrowed, but eh. And yes, coloring all that gold was kinda redudant. But at least it was worth it in the end.

I’m sure you all know what this scene is. There are going to be some major differences for this season that I have plan for sure when I get to it. It’s pretty obvious by now that Bast is going to be there instead of Tea. But it would make more sense because Catzi’s soul has been taken along with Yugi’s. Also, this will focus more on these two relationship. I will say this as a bit of a spoiler…Atem does end up putting his relationship with Bast in jeporady. What do I mean? He ends up yelling at her and blaming her that Yugi and Catzi’s souls were taken, even though it was his fault. I know. It sounds harsh but hey, it’s honestly to also show that these two are still human even if they are spirits. And the fact their relationship is not perfect in anyway. Not to mention, Atem is hurting big time. I can see him being the type to lash out if he is feeling stressed or having a close friend being taken away due to his mistakes. Eventually, he and Bast will make up. Aah I feel so bad for these two. T-T

I really should draw these two more in their ancient Egyptian selves. The issue is, having to draw ALL that gold and jewelry, and they can be a pain to color as well. XD But alas, I do like of how this came out. Sometimes, it takes time and patience to be able to make pictures like this. Also, yes, I think I am going to have Atem with red eyes from now on. While I do love his violet eyes, I feel like red suits him more. It honestly makes him a little more unique. Same thing with Bast having more of a blue aqua hair color. So yeah, that is all I have to share on this. ^-^

So a friend of mine thought of this idea of Atem raising Yugi, and I liked the idea lol so in this Atem and Bast took in baby Yugi and Catzi. The story behind this…Zorc is back and he tries to wipe out the ones who will help take him down. In other words, he targets Yugi, Catzi as well as Ryou when they were babies. It’s why they still look pale. He tries to get Thief King Bakura to kill them, but he draws the line on killing children. Thus he ends up sending baby Yugi and Catzi to the palace while he is stuck taking care of baby Ryou. Atem and Bast are recently married and find the two babies by the Nile. A little off putting that the two infants almost look like them, they decide to take them in. And throughout the time, they grow attach to the sweet children to the point they are willing to raise them as their own. So there you have it. This is such a cute pic. CX I really like how I draw baby Yugi and Catzi. hehehehehehehe :3

They want to know more about their past, but it’s still just a blur… Right now, Atem and Bast are in Bast’s soul room. Hers is very large to reflect her being an Egyptian Queen, but it’s not complicated and twisted like Atem’s. pffffff she would also have images everywhere that reflect her memories. The heart you see symbolizes her having been married to Atem years ago. Half of the heart has her real name and the other is of her husband’s. It’s darken out because she has no idea what his name is. If you’re wondering how Atem is able to be there, my friend Shiroi and I have a theory. We believe the Puzzle can let Atem see what he desires. For this, he would wish to see Bast, and the Puzzle would allow him to visit her. And this really comes in handy if Yugi and Catzi are asleep. They would have no issue allowing the Pharaoh and his Queen to see each other. But for this, it’s different. They can talk with no one bothering them. Which is why you see the above. Let me say this…I have been wanting to write up a one shot of these two for a long time. I mean, I feel so bad that I never was able to. Reason? I just…couldn’t think of any ideas for them. Drawing poses be like waaaaaat? Anyhoo, another Atem/Bast pic. Yeah again, I can’t get enough of these two. I also figured it would be perfect for Atem’s birthday on July 27th. And yes, I do believe it’s July 27th. I have seen people claim it’s June 2nd and I never thought that was right. Luckily someone did do some research and have figured that July 27 is the correct date for him. Plus I always feel the only reason people were trying to claim it’s June 2nd is because they wanted him to be in the same month as Yugi. Nah fam, I always believed it was July 27th. He’s a Leo for sure. XD Anyway, I have been drawing a lot of these two lovebirds lately. I should really also focus on my other OTPs since I love them just as much. But until then…Happy Birthday Pharaoh Atem. :3

Ya know, there are times I can’t stop drawing these two. I love them so freaking much. To me, I will always believe that these two are a real thing and no one can convince me otherwise. T-T I saw a poster of Atem in that pose that I had to draw it too and have his queen right beside him. Also one thing to note…I can never imagine Atem being super muscular. I have seen some fanart having him super buff and it just…it doesn’t feel right. To me, I think he’s more lean muscular. And I feel that makes him way more hot than having him look like some over stuffed couch. Aaaaah these two are so gorgeous… Also happy early 4th of July lmao

Cursed to live for 3000 years, a Pharaoh, a Queen, and a Thief are bond to three Millennium items and without their memories, they are forced to wander the Earth until they are called by their destiny. Now three chosen young teens are picked to hold the Puzzle, Wand, and Ring, and this calls upon the cursed three.

So, figured I draw up what Atem, Bast, and Bakura would look like as immortals. At least in the Immortals AU. I will say this, in this AU, these three are very VERY different to original anime. For Atem, he’s more like his season 0/manga self. Though he isn’t like insane or thirsty for blood. However, living for years in the world, he has seen things that he sometimes wish he could forget. Plus, he has red eyes in this, which can lead to issues for him. People would believe he is a demon, or least a spawn of one. So, people would probably find him scary even though he is not in the slightest. He also is not afraid to risk his life because honestly, he can’t die. His punishments on people who have wronged him are downright harsh. It’s not till he actually meets Yugi and his friends that he begins to question if the judgements he makes is considered right. Not to mention, he has this empty feeling within him that he can’t explain and that’s only filled when he and Bast start to rekindle their relationship. I also wanted to make his outfit something different to what Yugi would wear. It was hinted in the manga he does not exactly care for the clothes Yugi tries to wear. Or at least, he finds his taste in clothes to be…weird. Which I guess I can understand. XD Also, I can see him wear earings since he did wear earings as a Pharaoh. And sometimes he would wear bands. Also, my friend and I decided that Atem would have NO issue getting girls to fawn over him. He is one hot guy. XD Of course he has those cool red eyes. (I do know Bast would love his eyes, especially since red is her favorite color). And his hair I decided to make like from the manga to make him stand out more.

As for Bast, while she does still have her kind heart, she is not the gentle soul I made in the original anime. In this, due to how long she had to live as well as her being a very beautiful woman, people (mostly men) have tried to take advantage of her. This would make her downright cold and untrustworthy of anyone she comes in contact with. There is even at one point in her life that a man she thought to be a kind soul turned out to be ugly and tried to rape her. This seriously damaged her view on men in general and even cause her to have PSTD. (Which unfortunately for Atem when they are starting to reform their romance, he ends up triggering that painful memory, but by accident and it leads to miscommunication.) She would even have one point that she almost ALMOST could have easily turned into someone who could kill if she wanted. But thankfully, she was saved from that and thus she vowed to keep her kind heart but be mindful of people. Thankfully, meeting Catzi and her friends, she starts to value her new friends and see not everyone is always going to take advantage of her just because she’s beautiful. For her clothes, as I said, due to how most people just saw her only for her beauty, she started wearing baggy clothes in attempt to hide her true self. She really does get sick of people constantly hitting on her. After being with Catzi, her friends, and her relationship with Atem improves, she starts to reveal more of herself once again and never be ashamed for who she really is. I also made her hair a little more blue instead of the usual teal/dark aqua color.

Now for Bakura, this is where it gets interesting. I have shown in the comic and talked about it a bit there, but in this, Bakura is not evil. I mean, he kinda was at first but honestly, I feel like he didn’t have to be. I feel so bad that he went through so much and never got a second chance in the end. So, for this, he was forced to be controlled by Zorc. And while being stuck in Egypt, he had to live his immortal life away from people for the most part. It wasn’t until Ryou and his father come to Egypt and try to get the Ring. Of course, Bakura and Zorc can feel the Ring being disturbed so they had to go check on it. In the end, the Ring ended up killing Ryou’s father since he was not worthy and Bakura was left to become his father. This actually changed Bakura. For so many years, Zorc had been trying to teach him of how being evil is the way. But Ryou, being just a small boy, would show him that it’s not right and awaken the long lost human emotions and Bakura’s old self. Thus he rejects Zorc which causes the evil being to go off by himself and becomes a normal human again. He also ends up caring and loving Ryou as his own son. Now for his design, I can see him just wearing simple clothes and not really caring too much about his appearance. I don’t think he really brushes his hair all that much. XD He’s also handsome but due to his sarcastic rude self, I don’t think girls would want to hang out with him for too long. Going back to his hair, I decided to combine both the hairstyles he had. I honestly like the bat wing like or demon horn hair spikes. XD And also, I heard his thief king self was like 5'7. 5'7??? He was freaking shorter than Ryou who is confirmed to be 5'9!!! Nah…he looks taller than that, so I’m going to think he’s 5'11. XD

Anyway, there you have it. Sorry for going into a bit of a rant but I wanted to show you all this and I really like how all three came out. :D

AHHH! One of my best pics of these two yet! :D Sometimes I do feel proud of how well my art comes out and for this, I am really happy. :3 Bast looks beautiful and Atem is looking mighty fine himself. Hehehehehehe plus them arms yo. I really like how I drew them. :3 This is certainly one of my favorite pics of these two. And hopefully it won’t be the last.
