**SHOP UPDATE**
Okay, so I love dyeing green tonals.
The thing about green yarn, though, is it’s the HARDEST color to photograph! And if you’re a dyer and you never struggle with photographing green, I’m not sure I want to know about it.
These are new colors to the shop and are now available. The first one is Jade and the second one is Green Tea. Jade is a foresty green and Green Tea is closer to a Christmas green with a bit of a darker hue. I just posted these in the shop and there are only a few of each available right now but there are more coming!

Dear Sixth Year Students of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry,
This announcement is to inform you that Christmas break will begin one week before Christmas Day and will end one week after New Year’s Day.
During this time, the castle will be closed. If you wish to remain at Hogwarts during the holiday break, we will have some beds available for you to reserve ahead of time. Remember, you will be remaining at the castle at your own risk.
⚫️ Starting May 1, at 10:00 am MT, you will be able to reserve your spot to remain at the castle.
⚫️ These spots are limited to first come, first served and sell out very quickly every year. Be sure to set your alarms so you don’t miss out!
⚫️ Don’t forget to tell us which house you belong to so that your Christmas Day gift arrives in the correct color scheme!

Each box will include, but not be limited to:
• 24 (20 gram) individually wrapped mini skeins in fingering weight yarn (these are NOT in your house colors, they will be the same for all houses).
* Twelve of the minis will be dyed by Dragon Hoard Yarn and twelve will be dyed byYarn Café Creations.
• One (100 gram) skein of fingering weight yarn (this will be in your house colors).

Got to spend some time with family yesterday at my nephew’s wedding. I wish more relatives could have been there but I’m always so grateful for any time I get to spend with these wonderful humans.
I also got to spend time with my brother-in-law’s family. They have been part of my sister’s life for over 25 years and I am so happy she married into such a wonderful group of people. I don’t see them often but when I do, it’s as if I just saw them yesterday. ♥️

Y’all ready for our next “Mismash” update this Friday?! It’s been a minute, but we have been cranking out ALL the new color combos, right and left! We have quite a few that will be hitting the shop at 4 PM EST, like this beauty: ✨”Torn” + “Mercury in Retrograde”✨
What are our “Mismash” combos?:
✨They are 2 of our Homestead colors, dyed separately, and then intentionally plied together during the milling process!
What makes them EXTRA special?:
✨Even though we dye every color the same way each time we make it, during the milling process, combining the two colors together creates extra color shifting within skeins and within the project it is being used for.
How do I know I am getting the exact skein I am hoping for when I purchase them?
✨We are now separating all of our Homestead yarns into “batches” within a colorway. Each batch is made up of similar looking skeins, so you know when you order that batch, you are getting exactly what you want! No more “notes at checkout” or “sending emails after your order is placed and hoping we have the skein you want”- now, you know you are getting that perfect skein for your project!
✨If you haven’t already, be sure to sign up for our newsletter (at the very bottom of the home page of our website) to be notified as soon as all products become available.
