Meet Doug the Dog.
He was a very special delivery (via Santa) for a little girl this year. This week her mom messaged me and told me her daughter was so in love with and inspired by her plush, that she wants to learn how to crochet. She went out, picked out yarn, and she made her little dog Doug a tiny blanket.
Handmade happiness is truly one of the greatest magics around.

I taught myself to knit so that I could make tiny sweaters for my tiny plushies. They are finally here, after months of trial and error, learning, relearning, and pattern attempts.

People can be so wonderful.
Since I started my little creative endeavors online I have met some of the most truly beautiful souls. I recently had a fellow artist adopt this little white glittery pastel bunny for her daughter, Willow. Her daughter loved it so much, that she made a little clay replica of my bunny and sent it to me, just because.
Hollye is a very talented clay sculptor and I am so grateful for her incredible little gift, I can’t stand it. Not only is it about the cutest thing I have ever seen (and is beautifully made,) but it is so unreal that these goofy little round plushies of mine have managed to reach certain people in such a way. Anytime someone adopts one of my little Beans, there are no words for how amazing and validating it is. I’m sure so many of you fellow handmade hustlers understand. But to have this little tangible reminder on my desk every day is more than I ever thought could come of this.
Stay creative, because you never know what can come of it. And don’t forgot to pay moments of kindness forward, because it can mean more to people than they can explain. <3
