Hii friends - currently willing myself to sit through four hours worth of lectures on suturing. Basically which knots to tie and when. Kinda dull ngl, would much rather be learning about the surgeries themselves but I know every single bit of knowledge is a step in the right direction so I’ve got my bubble tea and i’m trying to pay close attention!
Also my driving instructor said I did good today hehehe. Next on the agenda after these lectures: draft my essay and edit a yt video on how I study!

Dear God,
Sometimes I find it hard to manage my time well. There is so much to do. Please help me to prioritize my daily activities to align with your will, your plan, your purpose, and to do what is most important as well as the little mundane tasks that must be done.
Help me to know when to say “no” to projects and requests that come along that would overwhelm me or take away from what you want me to do. Please help me to always love and care for those lives you have entrusted to my care and circle of influence.

Today I wrote a few Tumblr posts about how to start a new language, what to so if you have a lack of motivation and stuff like that. I’ll post it the next few days.
I also started a 7 days of meditation challenge. I never meditated before and if I tried it always felt like “sitting there and waiting for something to happen”, quite boring. But I found a new app and it really helped me. I already felt happier after my first session today. Now I get what people talk about when they say it’s relaxing. I’m so so so glad haha ^^
Btw the photos show a Bujo entry of how to study most efficiently when it comes to time management.

I didn’t write in September. I did some edits in August. I am very tired. I have made depressingly little progress, on either fic or original work.
219 books at the intersection of “owned” and “to-read” in Goodreads, which is up by 11 from the start of August.
Knitting continues, a bit.
My AO3 notifications are at 254 (down by 5) out of 510 (up by 59) unread emails (49.80%).
Have slowed down on getting a handle on the clutter in the library-slash-guestroom because the new cat is there.
I am very glad we are in the month of Hallowe’en.
I aten’t dead.
There has been a lot going on, and a lot of it is exhausting, but I am really hoping to clear more time now. (And, maybe… to finish fic again? I would like to finish fic.)

One of the rooms in our home is being renovated. It is a room with a lot of books. So I packed up 34 boxes of books, each box 10"×12"×15", and moved them all out, and disassembled or moved all the bookshelves.
(I am starting to believe in the concept of Too Many Books.)
