I love turning pours into spacey things. Natural vs UV light.

Got some new paints for my birthday so I had to try them out! The way the liquitex white and black reacted with the neons is so strange, but I really like it! This is in UV light.

A week or so ago I finished this, it’s based off images I found while googling “twin tail comet”. I guess you could say I tried to make a gijinka of a comet. Oddly enough I also got inspired by a Miku Hatsune music video called ARiA by Toku.(It’s a song about a girl wanting to become an actual star while she does stuff in a futuristic setting)
This was also inspired by wanting to use Dollightful’s old galaxy texture tutorial(as she used it on a tiny Apple Jack toy) on a canvas. Admittedly I could have done better since the galaxy texture/colors stay on either side of the canvas but it’s nice.(It looks nicer in irl)
I used acrylic paint & pearl shine acrylic paint(according to the paint tubes), most if not all the pearl shine is used on the comet girl. Thanks to the lighting on my work place & the pearl paint it kept looking off so I went around the areas I was able to stand in to get better pics.(At some point the person taking a pic of it for work had to frame it with a frame that has glass over it in hopes that’d help as I think she was taking a pic for the studio’s website) As you can see by these two pics the pearl shine can be more visible depending on the lighting.(I tried to really water it down for certain parts)
Below is some filters I used on them on Instagram, the pic on the left looks nice while the right looks like I duplicated a layer making it more visible or something. Also very slightly reminds me of my grandpa’s couch when he was alive.

I only told the moon
Tonight up on the roof
I told her i’m scared
That all my thoughts
They look like you
