Here are a few pieces I did for relaxation and self exploration. They have a very special place in my heart.

[image description: image 1 is a watercolor pencil piece that shows a girl with a green bob and green skin light by light streaming through leaves in a forest. image 2 is the same girl with green hair and skin in a flowing whirl of rainbow clouds and stars. she has a tattoo of the constellation draco on her shoulder and she is holding a smaller younger version of herself in the palm of her hands. image 3 is a girl with a shirt that has the constellation Leo on it, staring up into the swirling rainbow crescent moon night. end id]

Inspired by Jaebeom’s hair during GoT7’s Not By The Moon era. Because that hairstyle was amazing.

All things wonderful

Fleeting and fading

Everlastingly ephemeral

Yet devastatingly beautiful.

Mastering Quarantine Anxiety

explanation under the cut >>>

for a flickr group theme, the (new-who) Masters demonstrate their tools for combatting anxiety in healthier (and more quarantine-compatible) ways than their usual intergalactic villainy:

  • good books (even if you have to write them yourself)
  • journaling (see above)
  • fidget tools
  • take your (species-appropriate) meds
  • have a nice warm drink maybe
  • colouring pages / art therapy / draw your fears
  • wear clothes you feel good in
  • use tech to keep in touch with nemeses loved ones
  • share your supplies
  • CATS, CATS ARE NICE

shoutout to the people who swapped me some of the items in the picture, mostly @modernwizardand@queen-of-meows
also of course extremely indebted to @valc0 and everybody who enables their Roommates AU

“I had a really wonderful experience shooting with Brian! I had never done a nude shoot before and I didn’t really know what to expect, but Brian made sure to keep me laughing and comfortable the entire time. I consider myself a pretty confident person, but I’m fairly insecure about my chest. This shoot completely obliterated that insecurity! Brian’s influence helped a lot here, as he always stopped to tell me I looked great or was doing a good job. I felt so natural.

“As a female I was a little nervous about how I would feel doing this shoot, as women’s bodies are capitalized upon, devalued, and objectified every day. I am so happy to say that this experience broke those barriers for me, and although I know others will be consuming this content, it doesn’t feel voyeuristic at all. Rather, it feels like a newfound confidence in myself and in others viewing these photos.

“Finally, as an art history student, I have no issues with nudity in art. I actually find it to be really beautiful, whether it is a comment on God’s creation, a sense of vulnerability, power or something else entirely. I never thought that I could actually be that person, and without Brian reaching out to me, I would not have tried! It is such a cool feeling to know that now I am the one communicating through my own body. I am so grateful for this opportunity and I genuinely believe EVERYBODY should try this at some point in their lives. Thank you, Brian!”
