STAYCATION SUMMER: So remember that old nail polish I had? Well, I made art for my restroom. This place had been plain eversince I moved in and though I like simple, modern decor, I had time to make these pieces. I did not want to just throw the nail polish away. Might as well make use of it!

@raku—gaki and I are listening to Steven Fry’s Helen of Troy audiobook. There are two interpretations of her being taken by Troy- in one version she goes willingly, in the other she is kidnapped. There is a house in Pompeii with called the house of the Tragic Poet w bunch of frescos that were found recently. I find this fresco of Helen boarding the ship to be so compelling- she looks terrified. So I drew my version.
