#DrawingPride Day14- #Rainbow
Check this out! I thought it was time the queer geek community had its own flag. Other sub-groups of the queer community have a flag to wave around, so I created one for us! Its main element is an emblem designed to be used on its own, or placed on any permutation of the queer pride rainbow you choose. Next week I’ll be kickstarting the creation of enamel pins, patches and stickers! Let me know what you think!

Happy Pride Month and happy Bisexual visibility Day 2022
Even before I came out of the closet or knew knew what being bisexual meant, I kind of always knew that my gender rules when it came to love was different than everyone else. And it didn’t bother me. I thought it was normal. But when I grew up, I noticed very quickly that a lot of adults didn’t think it was normal. And that left me very confused for a very long time. Then one day I kind of just woke up and said “fuck it” I love both woman and men. And the rest is history.
It’s also very common that kids and adult with autism express gender differences. We have the most Gay, bisexuals, lesbians and trans people in the autistic Community and I think that’s really beautiful.
We autistic little ladybugs have never liked boxes, they are meant to be broken!

Today the German government issued a postage stamp in honor of #MagnusHirschfeld. In 1897, Hirschfeld founded the first gay rights organization in the world in Germany. This year marks the 150th anniversary of Hirschfeld’s birth and 2019 will mark the centennial of the founding of his Institute of Sexual Research.

On this day in 1946, film historian, activist, and co-founder of @actupny and @GLAAD was born. In a 1988 interview with #MakingGayHistory’s Eric Marcus, Vito said, “I want to be around to … tell the world what happened so that people will realize what we all went through. Because I think our lives have been devalued. These are brave courageous, beautiful people who are dying.” Vito Russo died of complications from AIDS on November 7, 1990. Happy birthday to Frida Kahlo The legendary Mexican artist would have been 111 today. Her work has inspired generations of artists. Frida occasionally wore men’s clothing and was proudly bisexual — despite the world being hostile to LGBTQ people in the early 20th century. : #NickolasMuray The first portrait was taken by Frida’s father, Guillermo Kahlo, in 1926.

Last nights Pride Pub Crawl was an absolute blast! Grateful to have gone out with Dani and even more grateful to have met Pam, Kiera, and Megan. Such a fun group of women to be out with and we really enjoyed ourselves!
Besides being with a fantastic group of women all evening, this pride event made me even more comfortable with my coming out as bisexual. I felt at home and comfortable and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Excited for more pub crawls and pride events!
