Brotherman Creator Speaks on Black Power: The Superhero Anthology

Black Power
Two words thrown around in popular culture with little regard for substantive reasoning: Divas and Heroes.  Merely reaching a high note doesn’t make one a diva nor does reaching supersonic speed or altering time and space make one a hero. Just as we should understand there is so much more to diva-osity, there is a social complexity to what makes and who is deemed…a hero.  Layered nuances of…

The Black Power Interviews: Are You Experienced?

Black Power
Who are you? How long have you been a superhero? Call me Foxy Lady. The one in the black trench coat, shirt and trousers with the red scarf-bandanna around her lower face is the Red Jaw. The luchador over there is Mr. Strong. The woman fidgeting in her seat, dressed in the Buddhist nun’s garb and faceless mask is the Flaming Calm Before the Storm… Umm… she’s starting to glow… are we in danger of…

The Black Power Interviews: Ghost

ghost
Who are you? How long have you been a superhero? My name is Malik. My last name isn’t important. I have been what you would call a superhero since I acquired the Ghost tech. You wouldn’t call yourself a superhero? I would call myself a survivor… and sensible. Running around in a cape and a g-string isn’t sensible and will probably get a fool killed, too. What is the difference between a superhero…

Reptilians were originally a symbolic representation of the original people

Seen this fan art & was reminded of an old post.. Fishmen & Other Merfolk in fiction are allegories for Moorish sailors of the past..Modern history often tells you of yhese seafaring race who often traded goods. Maibstream is just to egotistical to say they were blackI often show how they make up aliens or fictional races h give them our history. Fishmen in one piece are so obvious to know they were based off black folks. Just look at the depictions at some of them along with their history. They are a race who is 10x stronger than humans, often discriminated against & were enslaved till a rebellion. Even though they are strong they are docile in nature.. Definetly sounds like a group of folks you know

On Instagram under #BlueBlacknessHashtag I speak of how symbolically Blue skin = black skin.. Music as we know black people are great at creating & excelling at especially singing. As above & below seen are Female figures who are related to the blue skin concept

The recent reveal of the one piece character *Nika* unsurprisingly draws inspiration from real life accounts. This figure shares similarities with a african known as Joyboy, who we know is also a big figure in one piece. Both the figure Nika & the pic next to him of luffy in skypiea mimic the actual Joyboy drawing seen below them.

Also to not as seen above I show how fishmen =black folks & with this chapter certain remarks about fishmen definitely hold a similar feeling to racist remarks against blacks

Some more casting has been revealed for the One Piece Live Action Series.. What’s notable is the Arlong casting..

Almost like I’ve been saying Fishmen=Black folks

Black Panther #21

Storm just keeps on getting beastly.. 9/10 in recent years it has been the black panther comics which gave storm a significant power boost & much reassurance of her goddess nature. Below is a feat video I did on her for anyone to see what she is capable of..Enjoy

Storm Once again being beastly in the latest X-Men issues.. Check out my Ororo Munroe tag to see my other storm posts

Told y'all before in the vid above. Storm true mutant ability is Energy Manipulation and it manifests as storm manipulation.. This is due to her heritage of women having the natural ability to manipulate weather

In The Annual Of Black Panther Last Year it Showed how T'Challa Married Storm & Went in To Unite The Mutants,Atlanteans, Along with His Nation which is known as the Most Advanced..Storm Being Leader of The Mutants During This & Of Course T'Challa being king.. T'Challa also went on to Defeat many enemies on the planet thus securing his nations safety.. Also with the addition of me showing Atlantis, Wakanda, & The X-Men being connected to over here to the Americas.. All hashtags above are connected to my post on Instagram

Man I told y'all years ago about the atlantean and america connection .. Really just search Atlantis on my page to see more.. As seen above Namor and his race will be based around the Mayans/Aztec.. Also be sure to check out Kurimeo vids about Atlantis

Of course fans are still In mourning of Chadwick but saying Shuri should be the next black panther in the movies won’t be a good choice considering how they made her different from her comic counterpart.. Of course she went through various changes but when she became the black panther in the comics it was a role she was already prepared for. Shuri in the mcu is the genius when it comes to her & T'challa and not much of a fighter when it comes down to it. Her only 2 fights showed her ultimately losing rather quickly. Her comic self is more militant & was trained by t'challa and more in fighting, politics etc.. We also have to take in note Kevin Feige Mcu plans for the future.. Let’s not forget the x men should be debuting in the next couple of years & i don’t think marvel will waste the storm×t'challa relationship. There are even rumors floating around that Storm would be in black panther 2. In ending im not hating on MCU shuri but only that the conception of her doesn’t fit the role that movie fans want her to be.

Today after marvel announced that they’re not recasting T'challa as black panther me & my brother theorized that they probably will in the future but waiting on some sort of outcry to recast from the fans. I’m saying that marvel execs don’t wanna look like assholes so they probably waiting on fans to bring the change. Besides that I feel there was a lot of stories left to be seen with T'challa in the mcu. Most notably it would’ve been great to see him & Storm relationship evolve & possible marry. Doom war , secret invasion were also other good stories concerning him. Not to forget alleged leaks of namor or doctor doom having a major role in the 2nd black panther movie. Either way I accept people having their own emotions on the situation, Above is also an old post on why the mcu version of shuri to me wouldn’t work. I’m guessing either they bring back killmonger since he was black panther in the comics too or they recast T'challa in my opinion.

Good tweet I saw.. Only correction is there will be 3 Batman in this era, which is even more sad..Yea they definitely need to recast. Once again If they don’t recast we get robbed of all his stories like doom war, secret invasion possibly & not to mention we get robbed of a t'challa & storm mcu story.

Let’s not forget 3 Spider-Man as well in 1 movie

I jokingly mentioned someone around the time when Chadwick passes that they weren’t gonna recast because they didn’t want to see Black folks that happy again. Well what do you know.. Chadwick own brother carries a similar sentiment.. Like I always mention we can’t complain that they won’t do for us but instead we should focus on creating for ourselves. The black panther movies probably all are a wash now since they won’t recast.. Y'all really think Chadwick as proud as he was to display black people in positive fashion wouldn’t want this role recasted

Adding to the list of people getting multiple versions of the character are both Wanda and Doctor Strange .. Bruh Marvel is trolling at this point if they isn’t wanna recast T'challa

Zack Snyder being able to do this in his driveway just because is both wild & impressive

The first two pics are repost showing Odin connection with black people in some way. The 2nd pic moreso shows Odin blue clothing actually represented his blue skin. I show how blue skin meant black skin in #blueblacknesshashtag on instagram. On to the message of this post - Just browsing pics I came across the top photo in the 4th pic.. It depicts a person riding a horse like animal with 8 legs. Being someone who constantly shows & proves they took current mythology from ancient black culture & simply whitewashed it. So I would immediately recognize another horse in mythology called Sleipnir owned by Odin himself. From reading a book called The Return of the Serpents Of Wisdom among other books i knew Odin was a derivative of Votan/Wotan…A figure who is revered among many different cultures. I often show that Indigenous populations had deities similar to odin, thor,Zeus & others already present in their spiritual system. The book above States how King Votan would send certain groups from Atlantis [before it sank] to different parts of the world. One of these groups would go on to be the Tuareg . The Tuarag & these cave paintings above both have roots in Algeria. The paintings as seen obviously show black people. The Tuareg even still have a trident like device which according to the book King Votan & other Atlantean kings Had. This post is also me showing that Black People you don’t need to dream up fictional worlds or other fantasy worlds since your rich history already contains all the elements you would ever need to make movies/shows,comics etc…So basically I

Found The oldest Depiction of Priest King/God known as Odin

I feel Y'all not making a big enough deal out of this

Shoutout to the bro Safa Karu that made the vid that revealed the history of some words. In today’s post I showcase the word Brunette originally applied to Black Females.. If you follow me you know for years I’ve shown some research that the modern Vikings aren’t the accurate historic version.. This going along with my above odin post is .. To add a character I know from Viking mythology named Brunnhilde of course in name bared a similar spelling to brunette. And wouldn’t you know it that it was the 1st entry of words near Brunhilde.. Brunhilde as seen above was a Valkyrie & most notably in the MCU a melanated woman played the last Valkyrie

Search Viking on my page for my older viking posts

Interesting info..Definetly helps drive home my point above when finding proof of a Moorish/Islamic connection to the vikings

Recently I found out about the concept of the Odic force which derives from the god odin..It basically is another name for chi,ki,serpent energy, mana etc..Whats interesting is that the odin force from marvel basically describes what the Odic force is.. Another thing to add is as seen in the article above it states how old folks began to lose this energy. Any marvel comics fan knows this recently happened to odin in the comics & he had to surrender his title of king to Thor..
