As a nature nerd I love the snippets about the plants and creatures of this world. (From Iron Gold, but no worries this is just a fun bit of worldbuilding, you haven’t been spoilered)

“Nyxacallis.”

I sigh. “Is that Latin?”

“It means Night Lily.” He’s lost in thought. I’d ask him who the woman was if I didn’t recognize the pain on his face. Maybe that’s why I’m so fond of the old bat. He’s the only one in the Telemanus estate who wears his pain in his eyes. Rest are all playing games.

-Pierce Brown, Iron Gold (chapter 23)

grease pencil magic! Based on an illustration by Cheyenne Barton

Painted this flower with grease pencil, inspired by an illustration by W H Fitch!

What’s cool about this is that I created this horse skeleton in 3D with Blender, and then just by posing it with the Rigify horse rig, placing a few cameras and changing the colours (like I talk about in my recent video) I get can get countless illustrations from it! Working on a collage page - the flowers were added on a new grease pencil object, drawn in 2D - this is all made completely with Blender!

I made a little grease pencil video! I know most people here are probably following me for fanart, but just in case anyone else is also learning Blender or wants to start, I’ll be trying to post new grease pencil videos every week :)

And if this isn’t your thing, at least now you know what I look like, haha

I made a magical journal page of all the horses in Breath of the Wild! (But really I just wanted to pay tribute to my poor dear stalhorse. You aren’t the monster they thought you were)

Horse god sketch - I really love his design! (also RIP to my poor dear stalhorse, I just wanted us to ride into the sunrise together)

Part of something bigger! Hope all you fellow BOTW fans will enjoy it :)

I drew the merchant staying open late to sell you that darn red cabbage! (the pig is also unimpressed)

I started making this set of poses almost 2 weeks ago, and I think it’s finished now (after 6

I started making this set of poses almost 2 weeks ago, and I think it’s finished now (after 6 million tiny changes and improvements). It was for an edit, but now I don’t remember what my exact plan was

I’ve been branching out into Blender 3D art lately to add another medium in my cyberpunk worldbuilding aside from photography.

Filipino Cyberpunk Cities

An ongoing series of Blender 3D artworks by Filipino multi-disciplinary artist Lucius Felimus.

Each piece is a blend of cyberpunk futurism and Philippine urban culture brought to life through detailed chaotic cityscapes - filled with Filipino megacorporations, flying jeepneys, and Baybayin neon signs.

I now make 3D cyberpunk artworks in Blender

During quarantine, I’ve been studying Blender so I can add another skillset in my cyberpunk worldbuilding repertoire other than photography. Of course, they will still be Manila-inspired with neon Baybayin moonrunes and flying jeepneys everywhere, as it is my goal to make futuristic sci-fi art that feels close to home.

Here are a few of the pieces I finished in the past month!
